On Wednesday 28 October the Bendigo Jockey Club runs complimentary shuttle buses between Bendigo Railway Station and the racecourse for the Ladbrokes Bendigo Cup: to the track from 10:30am to 1:00pm, and back from 4:30pm to 5:15pm. General admission is $30 for adults, parking on the course is free, and the Victorian Government lists 28 October as a full-day local holiday for all areas of Greater Bendigo west of the Campaspe River.

The official road closure schedule runs from Thursday 29 October to Monday 2 November, and the car park schedule starts earlier, with the Noosa Woods car park closed from 10pm on Sunday 18 October.

Salamanca Place is closed to vehicles every Saturday for Salamanca Market, so the easy ways in are on foot, by bus to the Hobart bus mall, or by parking in one of the nearby car parks. The market runs every Saturday from 8:30am to 3pm, and the market’s own page says the old market shuttle bus no longer operates.
