Mandurah Line replacement bus route and timetable, last full-line train times, and the support act’s start time

If you are going to Lily Allen at RAC Arena on Sunday 1 November, the train is the plan Transperth builds its event page around: your ticket includes travel on all Transperth services for three hours before, during and three hours after the show, and Perth Station and Perth Underground are a short walk from the arena. If you live on the Mandurah Line, read the section on the line closure below first, because the trains that leave after the show run only as far as Cockburn Central.

This guide uses RAC Arena’s event, parking and conditions-of-entry pages and Transperth’s event and service update pages, checked on Monday 26 October 2026. Perth uses Australian Western Standard Time (UTC+8), with no daylight saving, so all times here are Perth times.

What time do the doors open and when does Lily Allen start?

What Time
Box office opens 6:00pm
RAC Local Lounge opens (reserved seated ticket holders only) 6:30pm
Doors open 7:00pm
Show begins 8:00pm

These are the times on the RAC Arena event page, which says timings are subject to change without notice. The page describes the show as Lily Allen performing her album West End Girl in its entirety, in the order the songs appear on the record. The Dallas Minor Sextet, a cello ensemble, supports in Perth. The page does not give a start time for the support act or an end time for the night, so work out your trip home from the train times further down rather than from a guessed finish.

The event is listed as all ages. Tickets are sold through Ticketek, online, on 13 28 49 or at a Ticketek agency, and the arena says tickets, whether bought online, by phone or at outlets, start to be delivered closer to the event date.

Is public transport included with my ticket?

Yes. Transperth’s page for the show says your ticket includes travel on all Transperth services for three hours before, during and for three hours after the event, and that you show your ticket to the driver or inspector. RAC Arena’s transport page says the same for tickets that carry the Transperth logo: flash your ticket on a train or bus up to three hours before and after the event.

  • You must have your event ticket with you to travel at no extra cost.
  • If you plan to collect your ticket at the venue, Transperth says you will need to pay a normal fare to get there.
  • If you drive to a Transperth station, Transperth says parking is free on weekends and public holidays, so Sunday is free.

Sunday also has its own free travel. Transperth says that every Sunday travel is free for SmartRider and contactless payment users on all bus, train and ferry trips from first service until last service, and that a SmartRider must not be in a negative balance. Without a SmartRider or contactless payment you need your event ticket or a cash ticket. Our guides to free Sunday travel on Transperth and contactless payments explain the rules.

Which trains run after the show?

Transperth says to walk back from the arena to Perth Station or Perth Underground. For this show it lists these departures:

Line From Departures
Yanchep Perth Underground, Platform 1 10.47pm, 11.02pm, 11.17pm, 11.32pm
Mandurah Perth Underground, Platform 2 10.47pm, 11.02pm, 11.17pm, 11.32pm (Perth to Cockburn Central only)
Fremantle Perth Station, Platform 7 10.47pm, 11.02pm*, 11.17pm, 11.32pm* (*Perth to Claremont only)
Midland and Airport Perth Station, Platform 8 10.40pm, 11.00pm*, 11.10pm, 11.30pm* (*Airport Line services to Redcliffe, Airport Central and High Wycombe)

Armadale Perth Station, Platform 5 10.41pm, 11.11pm, 11.41pm, 12.11am

Transperth adds that timetabled buses will operate across the network, and that there will be no additional bus services at suburban stations to connect with the extra train services. If your trip home includes a bus from a suburban station, check that bus timetable before you go. Transperth’s InfoLine is 13 62 13.

What is happening on the Mandurah Line?

Transperth’s event page says the Mandurah Line will be disrupted between Cockburn Central and Mandurah stations from 8.30pm on the night of the show, with train replacement buses operating, and adds “Service updates to follow”. The service update for the closure is a single line: the Mandurah Line will be disrupted nightly between Cockburn Central and Mandurah from Sunday 1 to Tuesday 3 November.

That has three effects for a concert-goer:

  • The Mandurah Line trains after the show are listed as Perth to Cockburn Central only, and the line is disrupted between Cockburn Central and Mandurah with train replacement buses operating, so anyone going south of Cockburn Central would need a replacement bus for the rest of the trip.
  • Neither page names the replacement bus route or gives its timetable. Our guide to the Mandurah Line closures in November covers what Transperth has and has not published.
  • The closure starts at 8.30pm, which is after the show begins. Transperth lists timetabled bus and train services as operating before the event.

If you live south of Cockburn Central, check the Transperth JourneyPlanner on the day, and have a backup such as a lift from Cockburn Central or a pick-up point at the arena.

Can I park at RAC Arena?

The arena has its own car park, entered from Market Street or Milligan Street. The event page and the transportation and parking page give these details:

Item Detail
Event rate $30 flat rate from 4:30pm until midnight; casual rates apply before and after that period
Casual rates $7.00 for 0 to 1 hour, $14.00 for 1 to 2 hours, $18.00 for 2 to 3 hours
Other flat rates listed Weekends 6am to 6pm $8.00; evenings 6pm to midnight $12.00 (outside event operating times)
Opening hours Open 24 hours from Friday to Sunday
Payment Cashless, EFT only
Height clearance 2.3 metres
Lost ticket $60.00
Accessible bays 14 ACROD bays, the first set near the Milligan Street entrance

The arena says the car park has two electric vehicle charging bays near the Milligan Street entrance. For car park questions it gives the email pa.carpark@venueswest.wa.gov.au and the phone number (08) 6365 0759. The pages do not say whether the car park fills up for this show, so if you are driving, leave the arena’s own rules in mind and allow time to find a space on arrival.

What can I bring in?

RAC Arena says bags larger than A4 size, including handbags and baby bags, are not allowed inside, and its conditions of entry list what else is not permitted unless the owner authorises it:

  • Professional cameras with detachable or telephoto lenses, audio or visual recording devices, selfie sticks, monopods and tripods.
  • Cans, bottles and containers, eskies and hard cased cooler bags, and external food and drink. You may bring one sealed 600mL PET bottle of water each, except when a full decant policy is in place.
  • Tablets larger than 170mm diagonally, and liquids greater than 100ml.
  • Strollers, baby carriers and prams, which are directed to the cloakroom.
  • Banners, posters, flags or signs larger than an A3 sheet of paper, glow sticks, laser pointers, musical instruments and noise-making devices.
  • Chewing gum and permanent marker pens.

The arena also says Evolv walkthrough scanners are in place at all entrances, a manual security screening option is available on request, and you should allow plenty of time for arrival. Anyone arriving late may not be admitted until there is a suitable break in the event. Lost property is held at reception and can be asked about on (08) 6365 0700 between 8:30am and 5:00pm Monday to Friday.

What else is on in Perth on Sunday 1 November?

Transperth lists two other events on the same day, and Transperth’s Perth Glory page carries the same Mandurah Line warning.

Event What Transperth says
Perth Glory v Adelaide United, HBF Park Gates open 3.00pm, kick-off 4.00pm, finish 6.00pm. Take a train to Claisebrook Station, a short walk to HBF Park. The first post-game trains leave Claisebrook from 6.14pm, and the Mandurah Line is disrupted in the evening.
New Fremantle Traffic Bridge Opening Festival Transperth will run shuttle buses between the new bridge and Fremantle Station before and after the event. See our bridge opening guide.

Transperth’s November service changes also take effect on Sunday 1 November, so check the JourneyPlanner for your own route before you leave. Our guide to the November service changes lists what changes.

Earlier in the week, Transperth lists Hilary Duff at RAC Arena on Thursday 29 October, with doors at 6.30pm, the show at 7.30pm and Hilary Duff on at 8.45pm, and the Yanchep Line disrupted in the evening. Perth Wildcats play Sydney Kings at RAC Arena on Wednesday 28 October, according to Transperth’s events list.

How do I plan the night?

  1. Check that your ticket carries the Transperth logo, and keep the ticket with you to travel.
  2. Take a train into Perth Station or Perth Underground and walk to RAC Arena, arriving in time for the security scanners.
  3. Pack a bag no bigger than A4, and leave prams, large banners and external drinks at home.
  4. Look up your line in the table above and pick the last train you can make.
  5. If you are going south of Cockburn Central, check the JourneyPlanner again on the afternoon of 1 November for the replacement bus details.
  6. If you drive, use the Market Street or Milligan Street entrance and pay by card.
