Four races run on Noosa Parade in Noosa Heads on the afternoon of Saturday 31 October 2026, starting with the women’s GWM Australian Open Criterium at 2:15pm and finishing with the ASICS Noosa Bolt 5km at 5:15pm. Noosa Parade, from Noosa Drive to Ravenwood Drive, is closed to traffic from 12:00pm to 6:00pm that day, according to the organisers’ road closure schedule.

The Fisher’s Ghost Parade steps off at 2pm on Saturday 31 October 2026 at the corner of Dumaresq Street and Queen Street in Campbelltown, Sydney, and finishes in Cordeaux Street. Queen Street between Cordeaux and Allman Streets is closed from 7am to 5pm, and Campbelltown City Council asks spectators to arrive from 1.45pm for the official opening ceremony. Noosa Parade is closed from 4:00am to 3:00pm on Sunday 1 November 2026 for the Garmin Noosa Triathlon, and the roads around Noosa Heads, Noosaville and Tewantin close in stages from about 4:30am. The official road closure schedule runs from Thursday 29 October to Monday 2 November, and the car park schedule starts earlier, with the Noosa Woods car park closed from 10pm on Sunday 18 October.

Oktoberfest in the Gardens runs in The Domain, Sydney, from 1pm to 9pm on Saturday 31 October 2026, and the organiser’s website lists the Sydney date as sold out. The closures still matter if you are not going: Art Gallery Road closes to inbound traffic from 7pm, and Transport for NSW lists seven more CBD streets closed from 8pm to 10pm. The Gold Coast 500 circuit roads in Surfers Paradise and Main Beach stay one-way, anti-clockwise, all of Monday 26 October and return to normal at 5am on Tuesday 27 October, and parking is banned in special event clearways until then. Removal works continue on the roads until mid-November.

To check a road closure on the Central Coast, start with Central Coast Council’s Road closures page for council-run streets and with Live Traffic NSW for State roads such as the Central Coast Highway and the M1, according to the council. The council updates its page during business hours, from 8am to 5pm Monday to Friday, so a closure that starts on a weekend may first show up on Live Traffic NSW or on the council’s Facebook page.

Roads around the Australian War Memorial will be closed for the Remembrance Day service on Wednesday 11 November 2026 from approximately 8:00am to 1:00pm, and Transport Canberra will divert Route 54 in both directions over the same hours. The National Ceremony starts at 10:45am on the Parade Ground, and tickets are not required.

Old Pacific Highway at Pimpama will be closed between Pimpama Train Station and Nexus Drive from 7pm on Friday 23 October until 6am on Monday 26 October 2026, so the City of Gold Coast can continue building traffic signals at the Mebbin Street intersection. The detour runs via Bedford Road, Yawalpah Road and Nexus Drive.

The City of Gold Coast’s own list of road projects shows work running into 2027 in Pimpama, Southport, Broadbeach, Coolangatta, Surfers Paradise and across the road network. The City lists two closures on its Mebbin Street project in Pimpama: Mebbin Street itself, shut from 7pm Tuesday 6 October until early December 2026, and a weekend closure of Old Pacific Highway from 7pm Friday 23 October to 6am Monday 26 October.
