Four Halloween events on the Sunshine Coast this weekend have published times: Landsborough Museum on Friday 30 October, and Sunshine Plaza, Moffat Beach and Amaze World on Saturday 31 October, with Aussie World’s FestEvil running both nights. Only the Sunshine Plaza, Moffat Beach and Landsborough events are free. The Sunshine Coast is on Brisbane time, so every time below is Queensland time with no daylight saving. Four races run on Noosa Parade in Noosa Heads on the afternoon of Saturday 31 October 2026, starting with the women’s GWM Australian Open Criterium at 2:15pm and finishing with the ASICS Noosa Bolt 5km at 5:15pm. Noosa Parade, from Noosa Drive to Ravenwood Drive, is closed to traffic from 12:00pm to 6:00pm that day, according to the organisers’ road closure schedule.

Uniqlo’s first Sunshine Coast store is open at Sunshine Plaza in Maroochydore, on Level 1. Sunshine Plaza’s own new stores page says Uniqlo “is now open”, and its store page lists the trading hours above. This guide is based on those pages and on the centre’s location and parking page, all checked on Monday 26 October 2026. Maroochydore is on Brisbane time all year, so every time here is Queensland time with no daylight saving.

The Garmin Noosa Triathlon starts at 6:15am on Sunday 1 November 2026 with the elite men at Noosa Heads Main Beach, and every competitor must be finished by 2:15pm. The race is a 1.5 km swim, a 40 km bike ride and a 10 km run, and it is the final day of a five-day festival that runs from Wednesday 28 October to Sunday 1 November.

Noosa Parade is closed from 4:00am to 3:00pm on Sunday 1 November 2026 for the Garmin Noosa Triathlon, and the roads around Noosa Heads, Noosaville and Tewantin close in stages from about 4:30am. The official road closure schedule runs from Thursday 29 October to Monday 2 November, and the car park schedule starts earlier, with the Noosa Woods car park closed from 10pm on Sunday 18 October.

Sunshine Coast Airport lists four car parks. The Short Term car park costs $19 for up to 24 hours when booked online, the airport says, and the same car park charges $13 for 10 to 60 minutes and $36 for 4 to 24 hours to drive-up customers, as of October 2026.

Sunshine Coast Council runs two PARKnGO multi-deck car parks, and as of October 2026 the first four hours at Mooloolaba Central and the first hour at Maroochydore’s Lightning Lane are free. On the street, the same sign rules apply everywhere on the Coast, and paid meters currently operate only in Caloundra and Birtinya.

Translink route 622 leaves Sunshine Coast Airport every hour and runs to Maroochydore and Noosa Junction, and costs 50 cents a journey if you pay with a contactless card or a go card. Taxis and rideshare each add a $4.32 (+GST) pick-up fee, and a shuttle service runs from the bays behind the taxi rank.

There will be no trains on the Sunshine Coast line between Caboolture and Gympie North from Monday 26 October to Wednesday 28 October 2026. Translink says railbuses will replace trains over that stretch, and trains will still run between Caboolture and Brisbane City.

Parking at Sunshine Coast University Hospital costs $3.30 for up to 30 minutes and rises in steps to $19.70 for 2.5 hours or more, as of October 2026. Sunshine Coast Health says these rates apply from 6 July 2026, and the 50% concession halves every step, so a full day costs $9.85 for people who qualify.
