Riverlink Shopping Centre in North Ipswich is running a free Halloween Trick or Treat Hunt from 10am to 3pm on Saturday 31 October and Sunday 1 November, with a free dance party on Friday 30 October and free after-dark shows on Saturday. Parking at the centre is free, but trains between Roma Street and Ipswich are replaced by railbuses from 11:30pm on Friday until the last service on Sunday.

The newest Park and Ride in Greater Hobart is at Claremont, which opened on Monday 20 July 2026 with 239 car spaces, and the older sites at Moonah, Kingston Denison Street and Huntingfield are listed by Metro Tasmania as free to park at. Midway Point and Firthside have also been delivered, according to the Tasmanian Government, and a site at Rokeby is planned.

The Fisher’s Ghost Parade steps off at 2pm on Saturday 31 October 2026 at the corner of Dumaresq Street and Queen Street in Campbelltown, Sydney, and finishes in Cordeaux Street. Queen Street between Cordeaux and Allman Streets is closed from 7am to 5pm, and Campbelltown City Council asks spectators to arrive from 1.45pm for the official opening ceremony. Sunday 1 November is a double header at HBF Park: Perth Glory v Adelaide United in the men’s A-League at 4pm, then Glory v Wellington Phoenix in the A-League Women at 6:45pm. The simplest way in is the train to Claisebrook Station, because your ticket includes travel on all Transperth services for three hours before, during and three hours after the event. Parking around the stadium is very limited.

There is no planned trackwork on Friday 30 October 2026, the night 5 Seconds of Summer play Afterpay Arena at Sydney Olympic Park, according to Transport for NSW. Doors open at 6pm, the show starts at 8pm and it finishes at 11pm, and trains run to Olympic Park from Lidcombe every 10 minutes until late. Sydney is on daylight saving time (AEDT) in October, so all times here are Sydney time.

If you are driving, plan to park in the CBD and walk; if you are not, a single Cairns bus ticket costs $0.50. The stadium says it has limited event-day parking on site, and the City of Townsville says Dean Street Carpark closes from 2pm on event days.
