Foundation Day is free and runs from 9am to 2pm on Saturday 31 October 2026 at Hambledon Cottage Reserve, 63 Hassall Street, Parramatta. The City of Parramatta recommends taking the Parramatta Light Rail to the Robin Thomas or Tramway Avenue stop and walking the short distance, because parking in the streets around the reserve is limited.

Powerhouse Parramatta, opening on Saturday 7 November 2026, has no onsite parking, according to the museum, and Transport for NSW says public transport, walking and cycling are the easiest ways to get there. The L4 light rail Church Street stop is about a 5-minute walk and Parramatta Station is about 8 to 10 minutes away, as of 22 October 2026.

A Rugby League World Cup match ticket at CommBank Stadium in Parramatta or Allianz Stadium at Moore Park includes travel on Sydney trains, metro, buses, light rail and ferries until 4am the following day, according to Transport for NSW. At CommBank Stadium there is no public parking on site on game days, and at Allianz Stadium event parking is a flat rate.
