On Wednesday 28 October the Bendigo Jockey Club runs complimentary shuttle buses between Bendigo Railway Station and the racecourse for the Ladbrokes Bendigo Cup: to the track from 10:30am to 1:00pm, and back from 4:30pm to 5:15pm. General admission is $30 for adults, parking on the course is free, and the Victorian Government lists 28 October as a full-day local holiday for all areas of Greater Bendigo west of the Campaspe River.

Melbourne Cup Day is on Tuesday 3 November 2026, the first race at Flemington is at 10:45am, and General Admission is listed at $60 for an adult. If you are going to Hilary Duff at RAC Arena on Thursday 29 October, the train is the plan Transperth builds its event page around: your ticket includes travel on all Transperth services for three hours before, during and three hours after the show, and Perth Station and Perth Underground are a short walk from the arena. If you live on the Yanchep Line, check the closure section first. The line is disrupted between Clarkson and Yanchep that night, the last full-line train leaves Perth Underground at 7.51pm, and the show starts at 7:30pm.

The race is a 1.5 km swim, a 40 km bike ride and a 10 km run, and it is the final day of a five-day festival that runs from Wednesday 28 October to Sunday 1 November.

For Hans Zimmer at Afterpay Arena on Wednesday 28 and Thursday 29 October 2026, Transport for NSW says the closest station is Olympic Park, and that a direct train runs from Lidcombe’s Platform Zero every 10 minutes until late. Doors open at 6pm, the show starts at 7:30pm and it finishes at 10:30pm each night. Sydney is on daylight saving time (AEDT) in October, so all times here are Sydney time.

Noosa Parade is closed from 4:00am to 3:00pm on Sunday 1 November 2026 for the Garmin Noosa Triathlon, and the roads around Noosa Heads, Noosaville and Tewantin close in stages from about 4:30am. The official road closure schedule runs from Thursday 29 October to Monday 2 November, and the car park schedule starts earlier, with the Noosa Woods car park closed from 10pm on Sunday 18 October.
