Which school services are affected?

The Pimpama notices name school services as well as routes. The route 724 notice lists school services 3076, 3112, 3413, 3419 and 3485 against the Village Boulevard and Depot Road stops, and the West Burleigh Road notice includes school services without naming them. Nerang Street affects school routes 3388, 3389 and 3449. If your child catches a school service from one of these stops, check the notice for the alternative stop and walk the new route together before the first day it applies.

What should I do if my usual stop is closed?

Translink’s general advice is to arrive at your stop five minutes before the scheduled departure, and to signal the driver clearly by raising your hand when you want a bus to stop, standing where the driver can see you. When you get off, press the stop button at least 100 metres before your stop. The map in each notice shows where the open and temporary stops are, so it is worth checking before you leave home. The temporary stop on West Burleigh Road is only about 90 metres from the closed stop.

How do I check for changes?

Each Translink notice includes a map of the closed and open stops, and the dates can change. Check the notice for your stop and the journey planner before you travel, and call Translink on 13 12 30 if you need help.
