L1 replacement buses run every 15 to 20 minutes, and all three lines resume as normal from 5am on Wednesday 28 October.

The closures are for planned trackwork, as announced in a Transport for NSW news notice dated 12 October, read again on Wednesday 21 October. Times are Sydney time. The week before, trackwork also closes the City Circle, as covered in our guide to the City Circle closure from 23 to 25 October.

What is closed on the L1 Dulwich Hill Line?

L1 services will not run between Central Grand Concourse and Dulwich Hill. Transport for NSW says to use alternative transport, including L1 replacement bus services, regular bus services, or walking if able. The replacement buses run every 15 to 20 minutes from 8pm to 1am nightly, and the times may vary with road traffic. Most replacement buses will be accessible; if one is not, wait for the next service.

  • Exhibition Centre, towards Dulwich Hill or The Star. Use the alternative stop at Convention (about a 7-minute walk).
