Sydney Light Rail Closed 8pm to 1am on Monday 26 and Tuesday 27 October 2026: L1 Replacement Buses and L2, L3 Alternatives (Sydney, NSW)

On Monday 26 and Tuesday 27 October 2026, nightly from 8pm to 1am, L1 Dulwich Hill light rail does not run between Central Grand Concourse and Dulwich Hill, and L2 Randwick and L3 Kingsford light rail do not run between Circular Quay and Central Chalmers Street, according to Transport for NSW. L1 replacement buses run every 15 to 20 minutes, and all three lines resume as normal from 5am on Wednesday 28 October.

No City Circle Trains Friday 23 to Sunday 25 October 2026: Central to Wynyard Closed, Replacement Buses by Line (Sydney, NSW)

From 10:40pm on Friday 23 October 2026, trains do not run on the City Circle or between Central and Wynyard, and most Sydney Trains lines change as a result, according to Transport for NSW. For travel in the City, Transport for NSW says to use T4 Eastern Suburbs & Illawarra Line trains, metro, light rail, local buses or walk.
