There is no event parking at the Red Hot Summer Tour on Coolangatta Beach on Sunday 1 November, so the organisers want you to take public transport or a rideshare. Gates open at 12:30pm and the headline act, Australian Crawl, plays from 8:15pm to 9:30pm. The organisers’ tour page lists the Coolangatta show as sold out as of 17 October.

Translink buses run along Griffith Street, one street back from the beach, and on-street parking is available in surrounding streets. The organisers ask drivers to read the parking signs and line markings before they walk to the beach.

The organisers say the line-up and playing times are subject to change. The box office is at the concert entry point and opens 60 minutes before gates, which is 11:30am, and stays open until the headline artist starts. Fast Pass holders have an express entry gate that opens 30 minutes before general admission. This is an 18+ event.

Can I park near Coolangatta Beach?

The organisers’ event page says there is no event parking and encourages public transport or rideshare. Free car parks nearby include the City of Gold Coast’s Chalk & Lanham Street car park in Coolangatta, which has a mix of time-restricted and unrestricted bays, with restrictions from 8am to 5pm seven days a week. Our Coolangatta and Tugun free car parks guide covers it. The two Roughton Park car parks at Kirra are free and open 24 hours; see our Kirra Beach parking guide. Neither is an official event car park, and neither page says how far they are from the concert site.

Accessible parking is available for accredited patrons adjacent to the event entry. The area is unreserved. Inside, there is an accessible viewing area about 40 metres from the stage with accessible bathrooms close by.

How do I get there by bus?

The organisers point to Translink buses on Griffith Street and to the Translink journey planner. We found no page for this concert on Translink’s event transport list on 17 October, so no extra services are listed. Check the journey planner for the day and call 13 12 30 if you need help.

You can also walk, run or ride to the beach, and the organisers link walking and cycling maps. Bicycles, scooters and trolleys are not allowed inside the event.

What can I bring in?

  • Allowed: a camp or folding chair, sealed still bottled water (not carbonated), a rain poncho, and a non-professional camera with no professional lenses or video cameras.
  • Not allowed: picnic rugs, alcohol, soft drink and non-alcoholic drinks other than sealed still water, umbrellas, glass, metal cutlery, shade structures, tents and canopies, bicycles, scooters, trolleys and pets.

All bags, chairs and belongings go through security. Anyone found with alcohol is refused entry without a refund. There is no pass-out policy, so you need to be ready for the full day. Food and drink outlets and a public bar operate all day, and all vendors accept cash or card.

What if it rains?

The event is an open-air concert and proceeds rain, hail or shine. It is cancelled only if the site is judged unsafe by event management, venue management and emergency services, and ticketholders would be told by SMS, email and social media. The organisers advise wearing suitable clothing and footwear, a wide-brimmed hat and sunscreen, and bringing a rain poncho. First aid is on site all day.

Tickets

Ticketmaster is the official agency. General admission was $169.90 plus fees, Fast Pass $219.90 plus fees, and reserved grandstand seats $219.90 or $249.90 plus fees, as of October 2026. The organisers say tickets bought from other sites are at the buyer’s own risk, and there are no refunds or exchanges once a purchase is complete.
