The 14th Pan Pacific Masters Games run on the Gold Coast from Friday 6 to Sunday 15 November 2026, with more than 40 sports at venues across the city. The Games’ social hub, Pan Pacs Central, is at the Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre in Broadbeach, and the organisers say participants can use free public transport with their accreditation on the opening and closing nights only.
This guide uses the official Games website, checked on 25 October 2026. The organisers say dates and times are subject to change, so check each sport’s page for its own schedule.
What are the Pan Pacific Masters Games?
The Games are a multi-sport event for adults. The organisers say that for the majority of sports the minimum age is 30, although some competitors are as young as 18, and that there are no qualifying standards. They list more than 40 individual and team sports, including basketball, swimming, tennis, hockey, touch, lawn bowls, golf, pickleball and padel. Some sports are on the beaches and waterways, such as beach volleyball, ocean swimming and outrigger canoe.
The organisers give two figures for 2024: more than 15,000 participants and supporters in one place on their About page, and more than 15,000 participants and 20,000 supporters in another. They say more than 16,000 participants are expected in 2026. More than 1,000 volunteers and team officials help run the Games, and the organisers say to ask them if you have questions.

Where are the venues?
The Games’ venues page says the Games use world class venues, including 5 from the 2018 Commonwealth Games, and lists more than 40 places. The page groups them by suburb. These are the main clusters, with the addresses it gives:
| Area | Venues listed |
|---|---|
| Southport | Gold Coast Aquatic Centre (Marine Parade); Griffith University Aquatic Centre (58 Parklands Drive); Star Badminton Centre (6 Pinter Drive); Gold Coast Touch Centre (Owen Park); Ned Twohill Equestrian Park (Baratta Street) |
| Carrara | Gold Coast Sports Precinct, Gold Coast Sports and Leisure Centre and Carrara Indoor Sports Stadium (all at 296 Nerang Broadbeach Road); Emerald Lakes Golf Club; Padel Gold Coast |
| Broadbeach | Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre (2684 to 2690 Gold Coast Highway); The Star Gold Coast (1 Casino Drive); Club Broadbeach (169 Surf Parade); Kurrawa Beach |
| Runaway Bay | Gold Coast Performance Centre and Runaway Bay Indoor Stadium (1 Sports Drive); Luke Harrop Cycle Circuit |
| Coomera and Pimpama | Coomera Indoor Sports Centre (35 Beattie Road); Pimpama Sports Hub (139 Rifle Range Road) |
| Main Beach | The Spit; Gold Coast Outrigger Canoe Club (Muriel Henchman Drive) |
| Elsewhere | Gold Coast Hockey Centre, Labrador; Palmer Gold Coast, Robina; Links Golf and Wellbeing, Hope Island; Nerang Soccer Club; Gold Coast Clay Target Club, Woongoolba; Mermaid Beach |
The venues page does not say which sport is held at which venue in the text we read, and its map loads on the page. Use the sports schedule and each sport’s page to match your event to a venue.

What is Pan Pacs Central, and when is it open?
The organisers describe Pan Pacs Central as the social hub of the Games, with official merchandise, athlete services, medal engraving, event information, massage, physio and recovery services, and live entertainment. It is at the Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre, 2684 to 2690 Gold Coast Highway, Broadbeach, and the organisers say it is near the G:link, the Oasis shopping centre, restaurants and the beach.

A Games Information Booth at Pan Pacs Central is staffed by volunteers who can answer questions on transport, results and tourist tips.

Who can go into Pan Pacs Central?
The organisers describe it as an exclusive venue for participants, and say athletes, supporters and spectators come together there. It is a licensed venue and a cashless venue. Alcohol cannot be brought in, and people under 18 are not permitted in Pan Pacs Central during entertainment operating hours. Collection of the games gift pack, which contains a backpack, water bottle and bag tag, is at the Games Gift Collection area during the advertised times.
Is public transport free?
Partly. The organisers say they encourage all participants to use the free public transport with their accreditation, and the page adds that this applies only on the opening and closing nights. Those are Saturday 7 November and Saturday 14 November. The page does not say which services are included or give hours, so check Translink before you rely on it. Our G:link fares guide explains fares on the other days.

Where do I park for Pan Pacs Central?
The organisers say there are free and paid parking options in Broadbeach. Street parking is a combination of metered spaces and free time-restricted spaces, and they send visitors to the City of Gold Coast website. They name two car parks:
| Car park | Entry |
|---|---|
| Oasis Shopping Centre car park | Via Charles Avenue or Victoria Avenue |
| Oracle Boulevard car park | Via Charles Avenue or Elizabeth Avenue |
The organisers do not give prices. For the convention centre’s own car park, see our Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre parking guide. Pan Pacs Central is about a 30 minute drive from the Gold Coast Airport and a 60 minute drive from the Brisbane Airport, according to the organisers.

What about parking at the sport venues?
The Games’ pages we checked do not give parking details for the sport venues, so the venue operator is the source. We have guides for some of them:
- Gold Coast Aquatic Centre, Southport
- The Star Gold Coast
- Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre
For the other venues, check the venue’s own page and the signs on arrival.
What else does the Games’ website say?
The Games’ travel page does not list accommodation options yet and names All Sports Travel as the official travel provider. We have not written anything about accommodation until the organisers publish it. Morning movement sessions run at Pan Pacs Central from 7am to 8am, Monday 9 to Friday 13 November, with a different class each day, and the Pan Pacs Central page lists the Heartbeat of Sport team, which offers preventative heart health checks there from 6 to 8 November.
