Parking at the Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre (GCCEC) in Broadbeach is a flat $15 per entry, per day, including GST. The first 30 minutes are free. The $15 does not cover re-entry, so if you leave and come back you pay again. Prices are as of October 2026, from the centre’s parking page.
The undercover car park is also the south park and ride for the Gold Coast 500 on 23 to 25 October, where drivers leave the car and take the G:link from Broadbeach North station.
How much does it cost?
| Situation | What the centre says |
|---|---|
| Under 30 minutes | Free |
| Anything over 30 minutes | $15 flat rate per entry, per day (GST included) |
| Leave and return the same day | The $15 does not include re-entry; a new $15 charge applies |
| Overnight or several days | $15 per day, per entry. Charges recommence after 2:00am |
| Pre-booking | Currently unavailable |

The 2:00am rule matters if you leave a car overnight. The centre says the charge stays at $15 a day and that charges recommence after 2:00am, which we read as a new day’s charge starting at that time. The centre does not spell out an example, so check the terms displayed at the car park entrance.
How do I pay?
You pay at pay stations before you exit. GCCEC is a cashless venue and does not accept cash for parking, so bring a card. Pre-booking a space is not available at present.
Will my car fit?
The clearance height is 2.1 metres, so check your vehicle’s height, including any roof rack, before you enter. The car park is undercover and has two electric vehicle chargers. A 10 kph speed limit applies inside the premises.
Is it a park and ride for the Gold Coast 500?
The Supercars event FAQ lists the Convention and Exhibition Centre as park and ride parking for people travelling from the south. It says to board the light rail at Broadbeach North station, free with a pre-purchased event ticket. The event has no dedicated parking and many parking restrictions. People coming from the north are pointed to Helensvale station or Parkwood instead.

The centre’s own parking page does not mention the Gold Coast 500, so the event rate and any event-day changes are not published there. Check the centre’s parking page before the weekend for any event-day notice. Our Gold Coast 500 parking and public transport guide covers the tram services, closures and tickets for the weekend.
Where is the nearest tram station?
Broadbeach North is the G:link station in front of the centre, on the Gold Coast Highway, according to the Groundwater Country Music Festival’s getting-here page. Broadbeach South is the other Broadbeach station, outside Pacific Fair. The Groundwater site also lists the centre, with its entrance via the Gold Coast Highway, as a day parking option for the festival. Our Groundwater road closures and parking guide covers the closures that weekend.

What else is on at the centre?
These dates come from the centre’s What’s On page as of 12 October 2026:

| Date | Event |
|---|---|
| Monday 19 October | Australia’s Biggest Week in Biotech 2026 |
| 6 to 15 November | Pan Pacific Masters Games |
| Wednesday 18 November | Pacific Pines SHS Year 12 Graduation |
| 26 to 30 November | 2026 AASCF National Championships |
| Saturday 12 December | Deck the Halls 2026 |
The centre does not say whether the flat rate changes on event days. Have your card ready, because cash is not accepted.
What are the other parking options in Broadbeach?
The Groundwater festival’s getting-here page lists these day parking options in Broadbeach besides the centre: the Oasis Shopping Centre car park (entrance via Charles Avenue), the Oracle Boulevard car park (entry via Elizabeth Avenue) and the Phoenician car park (entrance via Main Place Laneway). It also mentions street parking in and around Broadbeach, including Charles Avenue, Elizabeth Avenue and Old Burleigh Road. That page gives no prices for these, so check each operator or the City of Gold Coast.

Is there an accessibility guide?
Yes. GCCEC publishes an accessibility guide and a Welcome Story that walks visitors through the whole journey, from arrival to departure. It covers transport options, the look of the venue, quieter areas and bathroom facilities. Both are linked from the centre’s parking page.
