The City of Gold Coast’s Frigo Court and Holden Place car parks in Bundall both charge $3.20 an hour and $11.10 a day, and you pay between 9am and 7pm, Monday to Sunday. Parking at both is free outside those times. The City lists public holiday charges as applying, excluding Anzac Day, but one line on the Frigo Court page says otherwise, so check the sign.

Frigo Court is two outdoor car parks, one on each side of Frigo Court, with a listed capacity of 50 to 99 spaces. Holden Place is an outdoor car park at 1 Holden Place with a listed capacity of 1 to 49. Prices are as of October 2026, taken from the City’s car park pages.

The City’s pages are Frigo Court Carparks and Holden Place Carpark. At $11.10 for a day, both are dearer than the $9.20 daily rate on the City’s pages for its Southport car parks.

Do charges apply on public holidays?

Mostly yes, but the Frigo Court page contradicts itself:

  • The Frigo Court fees section says parking is paid on public holidays, excluding Anzac Day.
  • The Holden Place page says parking charges apply on public holidays, excluding Anzac Day, in this area.
  • The City’s Bundall and Chevron Island parking page says metered parking in Bundall operates Monday to Sunday, from 9am to 7pm, including public holidays, excluding Anzac Day.
  • A separate line in the Frigo Court page’s hours box says parking charges and time restrictions do not apply on public holidays in this area.

Three City statements say charges apply and one says they do not. Until the City fixes the Frigo Court page, assume you pay on a public holiday, and read the sign and the meter screen.

Is the Bundall rate the same everywhere?

No. The City’s Bundall and Chevron Island parking page lists several Bundall metered locations. The HOTA precinct long-term off-street parking, Crombie Avenue (east) and Ouyan Street are listed at $3.20 an hour or a maximum of $8.40 daily. That page lists “Frigo Lane” and “Karp Court Carparks (east and west)” at $3.20 an hour with no daily maximum. It does not mention Frigo Court or Holden Place by name, and we cannot tell from the City’s pages whether Frigo Lane is the same place as Frigo Court. The car park pages are the ones that give the $11.10 daily rate.

How do I pay?

The Frigo Court page says the meters accept credit or debit cards and coins. For the steps, receipts, the EasyPark app and faulty meters, see our guide to Gold Coast council parking meters.

Are there permits or long-stay options?

The City’s Bundall and Chevron Island page says resident parking permits for the Bundall and Chevron Island Traffic Area are provided at no cost to eligible residents, with resident and visitor permits available. For Chevron Island it says a limited amount of long-stay car parking is available in the centre, with additional all-day parking within walking distance, and that long-term parking is available at HOTA. The City encourages visitors to use public and active transport where possible.

Is there a time limit nearby?

The Bundall and Chevron Island Traffic Area is a three-hour area (3P), Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm, except as signed. The City says there is no time-limited parking on weekends and public holidays, and that where a sign does not state days, the limit applies every day, including public holidays. Time limits apply on every street in the area, including streets without signs, and you cannot move your car to another spot within the area and keep parking. The Frigo Court and Holden Place pages list no time limit of their own, so check the signs.
