Parking at Dreamworld in Coomera is free. The park’s own FAQ says it has space for over 1,600 cars and 15 buses, with reserved parking for guests with disabilities. We checked this on 15 October 2026 against the Dreamworld website.
Dreamworld sits at Dreamworld Parkway, Coomera, and the park says it is reached from the Coomera exit (Exit 54) of the Pacific Motorway. If you do not want to drive, the Translink TX7 bus runs between Helensvale and Coomera stations and stops at the park.
Is parking at Dreamworld really free?
Yes. Dreamworld’s Help & FAQs page answers the question “Is there free parking at Dreamworld?” with: “Yes, we offer free parking at Dreamworld, with space for over 1,600 cars and 15 buses.” The park does not list a time limit, a booking requirement or a fee on that page. Prices and conditions can change, so check the Dreamworld FAQ before you go.

Where is the accessible parking?
Dreamworld says reserved parking is at the southern end of rows A and J of its car park, for vehicles displaying a Disability Parking Permit. The spaces are marked with the International Disabilities Symbol.
How long does it take to drive there?
The park’s how to get here page gives these drive times, all ending at the Coomera Exit (Exit 54) of the Pacific Motorway, then following the signs to Dreamworld:

| From | Drive time | Route in brief |
|---|---|---|
| Surfers Paradise | 25 minutes | Smith Street at Southport, then the Pacific Motorway |
| Gold Coast Airport | 35 minutes | Gold Coast Highway, which becomes the Pacific Motorway |
| Brisbane Airport | 45 minutes | Gateway Motorway to the Pacific Motorway, about 30 minutes on the motorway |
| Brisbane city | 45 minutes | Captain Cook Bridge, South East Freeway, then the Pacific Motorway |
If you are landing at the airport and hiring a car, our Gold Coast Airport parking guide covers the airport car parks.
Can I get there by bus, tram or train?
Dreamworld describes itself as an official Translink bus stop. The TX7 theme park service runs between Helensvale and Coomera stations and stops at the park. Trams reach it through a transfer: take the G:link tram towards Helensvale station, then the TX7 bus. Coomera and Helensvale stations on the Gold Coast line also give access, with trains between Brisbane and Varsity Lakes.

Two things to plan for:
- You cannot buy a Translink paper ticket or top up a go card or go explore card on the bus or at Dreamworld. Dreamworld says every passenger over 5 years of age needs a valid payment option before boarding.
- There are no Gold Coast line trains between Beenleigh and Varsity Lakes, from the first service on Saturday 17 October until the last service on Sunday 18 October, according to Translink. Coomera and Helensvale are both on that stretch. Railbuses run instead, and our Gold Coast line weekend closure guide has the details.
What about WhiteWater World?
WhiteWater World is the water park on the Dreamworld website. Dreamworld describes it as a seasonal water park whose operating hours vary through the year, and tells visitors to check the park information for daily hours. The parking answer above is Dreamworld’s; the WhiteWater World page does not mention parking, so we have not assumed anything about a separate car park.

Do the other Gold Coast theme parks publish parking details?
Not in the same way. As of 15 October 2026, Sea World’s park information page says only that “on-site parking is available for guests”, with no fee, capacity or hours. The official pages for Warner Bros. Movie World and Wet’n’Wild list the TX7 bus from Helensvale (every 15 minutes, daily from 9:00am to 11:30am) but do not give a parking price or a number of spaces. We will not guess those figures. We will update this article if the parks publish them.
