Caboolture Christmas Carols is free and runs from 4pm to 8pm on Sunday 6 December 2026 at QSEC, the Queensland State Equestrian Centre on Beerburrum Road. It is a new venue this year, and the organisers say there will be a free shuttle bus between Caboolture station and QSEC, which is about 2.6 kilometres apart.
This guide uses the City of Moreton Bay event page and the Visit Moreton Bay listing, both read on 7 November 2026. Caboolture is on Queensland time (AEST, UTC+10), which has no daylight saving.

What time is it and where is the new venue?
The carols run from 4pm to 8pm. The council lists QSEC as the new home for the event this year. The address is 1010 Beerburrum Road, Caboolture 4510.

What is on at the Caboolture carols?
The council describes a sing-along of favourite Christmas songs, free family-friendly activities, food and a visit from Santa. The pages we read do not list a stage program, so performer names and set times are not confirmed.

How do I get to QSEC from Caboolture station?
The Visit Moreton Bay FAQ lists four ways to arrive.
| Option | What the organisers say |
|---|---|
| Free shuttle bus | A free shuttle runs between Caboolture station and QSEC. The Visit Moreton Bay page gives no shuttle times yet |
| Train | Caboolture station is about 2.6 km from QSEC |
| Car | Plenty of parking on site; follow the traffic marshals |
| Walking | Recommended for people who live close, to reduce congestion |
Because the shuttle times are not out, do not plan a tight connection yet. Check the council and Visit Moreton Bay pages again in the week before. For train times on the Sunday, use the Translink Journey Planner or the Translink service updates page, since planned works can change weekend services.

Can I bring my dog, food or drink?
Dogs are not allowed at QSEC, with the exception of accredited service dogs. The accreditation must be shown on entry and the dog must display it for the whole visit.
The FAQ says you can bring limited outside snacks and sealed water bottles. These are not permitted: metal items such as cutlery, alcohol, thermos flasks, hot food or drink, large coolers, eskies or picnic baskets, and any glass. Empty drink bottles are allowed, and so are soft cooler bags. Hot food and drinks are banned, with small children’s snacks the one exception named.
What else is banned at the Caboolture carols?
The list is longer than at most council events. Anyone found with these items can be removed from the site.
| Group | Items on the banned list |
|---|---|
| Food and drink | Glass, cans, bottles and containers (empty drink bottles are fine), hot food and drinks, alcohol, metal cutlery, thermos flasks, hard-case eskies |
| Seating | No BYO chairs; picnic blankets are recommended for the sand areas. No prams in the grandstand seating, but a pram check station is available |
| Safety | Knives, weapons and scissors, flares and fireworks, laser pointers, illegal substances |
| Wheels and gadgets | Scooters, roller skates, skateboards and bicycles, drones, selfie sticks, monopods and tripods |
| Other | Umbrellas, helium or standard balloons, confetti, whistles, horns and musical instruments, oversized banners and flags, commercial cameras and recording equipment, offensive or political clothing |
Smoking and vaping are allowed only in the designated outdoor areas, and the FAQ warns of on-the-spot fines elsewhere.

What if it rains, and what about first aid?
The event goes ahead in rain. If rain creates a safety problem, parts of the festival may change. In the unlikely event of a cancellation, the organisers say they will post on the Christmas City of Moreton Bay Facebook page. Trained first aiders will be on site; ask any event or venue staff, security or a volunteer.
Is the venue accessible?
Accessible and ambulant toilets are available on both sides of the stadium, but the venue has no adult change facility at the moment. Wheelchair access to the central arena is first come, first served, and the arena floor is hard-packed natural sand that can be wheeled over. If that is difficult on the day, the team will arrange another viewing point.

Can I sell food or products there?
The Visit Moreton Bay FAQ links vendor terms and asks interested traders to email vendors@temb.com.au.
