Wollongong hosts all 20 Wheelchair Rugby League World Cup 2026 matches at WIN Entertainment Centre across eight match days from Friday 30 October to Friday 13 November, starting with Ireland v USA at 1pm. The tournament has 12 pool matches, then four semi-finals and four finals, with teams still to be named for the knockout games.
This guide lists every match with its day and start time, as published by Transport for NSW and the venue operator, and checked against the tournament’s own match data on Monday 26 October. It is the first of two guides: our travel and parking guide for the Wheelchair Rugby League World Cup covers how to get to the venue.
Who is playing in the Wollongong pool matches?
The tournament’s pools page splits the eight teams into two pools of four. Each team plays the other three teams in its pool.
| Pool A | Pool B |
|---|---|
| England | Australia |
| Ireland | France |
| USA | New Zealand |
| Wales | Scotland |

What is on in the first week?
The first four matches, in Round 1, are on Friday 30 and Saturday 31 October. On Friday 30 October the men’s and women’s Rugby League World Cup matches are also on at WIN Stadium, and our guide to the WIN Stadium matches covers that evening.
| Day | Time | Match |
|---|---|---|
| Friday 30 October | 1:00pm | Ireland v USA |
| Friday 30 October | 3:30pm | England v Wales |
| Saturday 31 October | 3:00pm | France v Scotland |
| Saturday 31 October | 5:30pm | Australia v New Zealand |
Saturday 31 October is the only weekend match day in the tournament. All the other match days are weekdays.
What is on in the second week?
Round 2 is on Tuesday 3 November, with four matches in one day, and Round 3 is on Friday 6 November, also with four matches.
| Day | Time | Match |
|---|---|---|
| Tuesday 3 November | 11:00am | France v New Zealand |
| Tuesday 3 November | 1:30pm | Australia v Scotland |
| Tuesday 3 November | 4:00pm | Ireland v Wales |
| Tuesday 3 November | 6:30pm | England v USA |
| Friday 6 November | 11:00am | Scotland v New Zealand |
| Friday 6 November | 1:30pm | Wales v USA |
| Friday 6 November | 5:00pm | England v Ireland |
| Friday 6 November | 7:30pm | France v Australia |

When are the semi-finals and finals?
The semi-finals are on Monday 9 and Tuesday 10 November, and the finals are on Thursday 12 and Friday 13 November. The venue’s event pages call the matches Semi Final 1 to 4 and Final 1 to 4, and the official match data lists the teams for all of them as to be announced.
| Day | Match | Time on the venue and Transport for NSW pages | Time in the tournament’s match data |
|---|---|---|---|
| Monday 9 November | Semi Final 1 | 11:00am | 11:00am |
| Monday 9 November | Semi Final 2 | 1:30pm | 1:30pm |
| Tuesday 10 November | Semi Final 3 | 5:00pm | 5:15pm |
| Tuesday 10 November | Semi Final 4 | 7:30pm | 7:30pm |
| Thursday 12 November | Final 1 | 11:00am | 11:00am |
| Thursday 12 November | Final 2 | 1:30pm | 1:30pm |
| Friday 13 November | Final 3 | 5:00pm | 5:00pm |
| Friday 13 November | Final 4 | 7:30pm | 7:45pm |
Two start times differ by 15 minutes between sources: Semi Final 3 on Tuesday 10 November is 5:00pm on the venue and Transport for NSW pages and 5:15pm in the match data, and Final 4 on Friday 13 November is 7:30pm on those pages and 7:45pm in the match data. We converted the match data from UTC to Wollongong time, which is AEDT, UTC plus 11 hours. Check your ticket for the time that applies.
The names differ between sources. Transport for NSW lists the knockout days as “Semi Final 1” on Monday 9 November and “Semi Final 2” on Tuesday 10 November, and “Final 1” on Thursday 12 November and “Final 2” on Friday 13 November, each with a Game 1 and a Game 2. The venue’s event pages instead number the four semi-finals and the four finals individually, as in the table above, so the same match can carry a different label depending on where you look.

Which days have the most matches?
Tuesday 3 November and Friday 6 November have four matches each. Friday 30 October, Saturday 31 October, both semi-final days and both finals days have two matches each. In total that is 8 match days: Friday 30 October, Saturday 31 October, Tuesday 3 November, Friday 6 November, Monday 9 November, Tuesday 10 November, Thursday 12 November and Friday 13 November.
On the four-match days the first game starts at 11:00am on both Tuesday 3 November and Friday 6 November, and the last game starts at 6:30pm and 7:30pm respectively. If you plan to watch several games in one visit, check with the organisers and the venue whether a single ticket covers more than one match, because the pages we read do not say.
How do I buy tickets?
Each of the venue’s event pages has a “Get Tickets” button, and the tournament’s website links to its ticketing page at Ticketmaster. We did not open the ticketing pages, and the venue and Transport for NSW pages do not list wheelchair match prices. Treat ticket prices and conditions as not yet confirmed here, and check the official ticketing page before you plan.

What do I need to know about getting there?
Transport for NSW says the closest station to WIN Entertainment Centre is Wollongong on the South Coast Line, about a 15-minute walk via Burelli Street, and that the free Gong Shuttle stops near the venue. It also says planned trackwork is taking place on game days across the network and may affect how you travel. Our travel and parking guide has the details, including parking, road closures and accessible travel. Transport for NSW also lists regular bus routes 3, 8, 10, 11, 31, 33, 34, 35, 37, 39, 90 and 92 that stop within walking distance of the venue, and says you need an Opal card or a contactless payment card or device to travel to and from the event.
How does Wollongong fit into the wider tournament?
The men’s tournament has England v Papua New Guinea at WIN Stadium in Wollongong on Friday 30 October. The wheelchair competition’s 20 matches are all at WIN Entertainment Centre in Wollongong, according to the tournament’s match data and the venue’s event pages.

Who runs the venue?
WIN Entertainment Centre is run by WIN Sports and Entertainment Centres, which also runs WIN Stadium. Its events page lists the Wheelchair Rugby League World Cup matches, along with Illawarra Hawks home games and other shows.
