The 2026 Coastal Classic, a 30 kilometre trail run from Otford to Bundeena through the Royal National Park, will now be held on Saturday 28 November 2026. It was due to run on 5 September, but a Total Fire Ban led to its postponement the day before.
If you want to watch the finish of the 2026 Point to Pinnacle, you cannot drive up kunanyi/Mount Wellington. The organisers sell a spectator bus ticket for $25 per person that leaves Wrest Point in Sandy Bay at 7:40am on Sunday 15 November, and only about 150 seats exist in total.
On Sunday 15 November 2026, everyone in the Elders Point to Pinnacle must pass the junction of Davey Street and the Southern Outlet by 8:40am, be past the turn onto Pillinger Drive by 9:40am, and finish by 11:40am, according to the 2026 Event Booklet. Walkers start at 7:00am and runners at 8:00am, both from Wrest Point.
The Marsdens Law Group Fisher’s Ghost Fun Run starts at 8am on Sunday 8 November 2026 at Western Sydney University’s Campbelltown campus, with a 5km and a 10km race. Online entries close at 11.59pm on Wednesday 4 November, and the course closes at 10am, so you have two hours to finish. Campbelltown is on Sydney time, which is daylight saving time (UTC+11) in November, and every time below is Sydney time.
The Stromlo Running Festival starts at 5:50am on Saturday 14 November 2026 with the marathon, and at 7:30am on Sunday 15 November with the 10K, at Stromlo Forest Park in the Molonglo Valley. The organiser’s FAQ says entries cannot be taken on the day, so anyone who wants to run needs to be registered before the weekend.
The second race of the three-race Casey Stride Series is on Sunday 8 November 2026 at Casey Fields in Cranbourne East: the 10km and 5km runners start at 8.15am and the walkers at 8.17am, with the kids races at 9.15am. Adult entry is $40. The series is celebrating its 10th anniversary in 2026.
