The second race of the three-race Casey Stride Series is on Sunday 8 November 2026 at Casey Fields in Cranbourne East: the 10km and 5km runners start at 8.15am and the walkers at 8.17am, with the kids races at 9.15am. Adult entry is $40. The series is celebrating its 10th anniversary in 2026. This guide uses the ACTIVE registration page and the City of Casey’s event listing, both read on 27 October 2026, and times are Melbourne local time (AEDT).

What time do I need to be there?
The ACTIVE event page gives one race-day schedule for all three races in the series:
| Time | What happens |
|---|---|
| 7.15am to 8.15am | Race pack pick-up and race-day registrations |
| 8.10am | Race safety briefing |
| 8.15am | 10km and 5km runners start |
| 8.17am | 10km and 5km walkers start |
| 8.15am to 9.15am | Kids race pack pick-up and race-day registrations |
| 9.10am | Kids race safety briefing |
| 9.15am | Kids start |
| 10.30am | Prizegiving |
The City of Casey lists the event as running from 8.15am to 11.15am. Pack pick-up opens earlier, at 7.15am. The race safety briefing for the 5km and 10km is at 8.10am, and the kids race safety briefing is at 9.10am.
How far is the course, and what is it like?
The 10km and 5km courses are built on a 2.5km flat circuit around Casey Fields, which the organiser says mixes footpaths, trail and the athletics track. Ten-kilometre participants do 4 laps and 5km participants do 2 laps. Each lap passes through the Casey Fields Regional Athletics Centre.

Walkers can enter the same distances. The organiser describes the series as fun, friendly and relaxed, designed for all abilities from beginners walking 5km to Olympians, with a large family focus.
What are the kids races?
The series has three kids races: a 2km for children under 13, a 1km for children under 9 and a 400m Joey Jog for children under 5. The ACTIVE page lists the 2km and 1km as separate entries for Race 2. The kids start at 9.15am, after the adult races, and kids pack pick-up and registration is open from 8.15am to 9.15am.

How much does Race 2 cost?
The ACTIVE page lists these Race 2 entry prices for 8 November:
| Entry | Price |
|---|---|
| Adult 10km or 5km (20 to 64 years) | $40 |
| Seniors 10km or 5km (over 65 years) | $35 |
| Junior 10km or 5km (under 20 years) | $35 |
| Kids 2km (under 13 years) | $30 |
| Kids 1km (under 9 years) | $30 |
The page shows a “view more” link for further categories, and ACTIVE shows the lowest price for the series as $20. The City of Casey lists the cost as $20 to $40. Check the ACTIVE page for any category not shown in the table above, such as the Joey Jog. All finishers receive a finisher’s medal at each race, and runners who collect one at each race complete a three-piece medal set. The first 250 people to register for the Series Pass, which covers all three races, receive a free event T-shirt.
When are the other races in the series?
| Race | Date |
|---|---|
| Race 1 | Sunday 18 October 2026 |
| Race 2 | Sunday 8 November 2026 |
| Race 3 | Sunday 29 November 2026 |
All three races are at Casey Fields Regional Athletics Centre, 160 Berwick-Cranbourne Road, Cranbourne East, and the series is organised by Stride Events. The City of Casey lists the venue as wheelchair accessible.

What do the sources not say?
Neither the ACTIVE page nor the City of Casey page says where to park, how to get to Casey Fields by public transport, or what the race-day registration price is, so none of that is covered here.
