There is no public parking at Cbus Super Stadium for the Rugby League World Cup triple header on Saturday 31 October, so plan to come by train, bus or the free Park & Ride shuttles. Translink now lists gates at 11:30am and the first match at 12:35pm, with free travel for ticket holders starting at 8:35am. The stadium’s own event page still shows kick-off times 15 minutes earlier, so confirm against your ticket.
Robina station is about 300 metres from the stadium, according to Translink. The stadium’s own page puts it at about 350 metres south of the stadium. Translink has now published the shuttle timetable, but says to check back for any extra trains.
What time are the matches?
| Time, Saturday 31 October | What |
|---|---|
| 8:35am | Free travel period begins (Translink) |
| 11:30am | Gates open (Translink) |
| 12:35pm | Game 1: Fiji v France (women) |
| 2:45pm | Game 2: New Zealand v Fiji (men) |
| 4:55pm | Game 3: New Zealand v Papua New Guinea (women) |

These are Translink’s times as of 25 October 2026. The stadium’s event page lists 12:20pm, 2:30pm and 4:45pm for the three games, and its What’s On page lists gates at 11:20am, so the two sources differ by 10 to 15 minutes. The tournament’s own fixture pages on rlwc2026.com show each match in the viewer’s time zone; converted to Queensland time they give 12:20pm, 2:30pm and 4:45pm, the same as the stadium’s page. Tickets are sold through Ticketmaster, which the stadium’s event page names as the authorised agent.
Can I park at or near the stadium?
No. The stadium says there is no public parking available at the venue and that parking restrictions apply in the local area on major event days. The City of Gold Coast activates the Robina Stadium Traffic Area on signed event days, with two-minute parking and time limits on every street inside it. Not all streets are signed, so you are responsible for checking. Our Cbus Super Stadium parking guide covers the rules, the fines and the permits for residents.

Where do the free shuttle buses leave from?
| Park & Ride location | Notes |
|---|---|
| Firth Park, Mudgeeraba | Somerset Drive |
| Burleigh Heads State School | Lower Gold Coast Highway. The shuttle stop is temporarily at West Burleigh Road at Stanley Street (Stop ID 300184), about 400 metres from the usual stop. Translink lists it as Burleigh Heads Primary School, changed bus stop |
| Broadbeach South G:link bus stop | Near the Gold Coast Highway |
Translink now lists the shuttle times for the day. The buses run to the match from 11am until 2:30pm, and the return buses run from Robina bus station until one hour after the match ends:
| Shuttle from | Runs | Return from Robina bus station |
|---|---|---|
| Firth Park, Mudgeeraba park ‘n’ ride | 11am to 2:30pm | Bays 5, 6 and 7 |
| Burleigh Heads Primary School (changed bus stop) | 11am to 2:30pm | Bay 4 |
| Broadbeach South station | 11am to 2:30pm | Bay 3 |
Are there extra shuttles from Tweed Heads and Palm Beach?
Yes. Translink lists two more services, and says they are not operated by Translink, so check how to pay with the operator. Each lists two departure times from every stop:
| Route | Pick-up stops and times |
|---|---|
| Tweed Heads to Cbus Super Stadium | Tweed Heads (corner of Bay and Wharf Streets) 12:45pm and 1:45pm; Kirra shops 12:51pm and 1:51pm; Tugun shops 1:01pm and 2:01pm; Currumbin Bird Sanctuary 1:07pm and 2:07pm; The Pines Shopping Centre 1:14pm and 2:14pm; Robina station 1:32pm and 2:32pm |
| Palm Beach to Cbus Super Stadium | Palm Beach (between Sixth Avenue and Palm Beach Avenue) 1pm and 2pm; Nineteenth Avenue 1:03pm and 2:03pm; Burleigh Heads 1:08pm and 2:08pm; Christine Avenue and Gold Coast Highway 1:12pm and 2:12pm; Robina station 1:30pm and 2:30pm |
For people with a red disability parking permit, dedicated shuttles leave the Firth Park park ‘n’ ride at 11:50am, 1pm, 2pm and 4:15pm for Centreline Place, with no bookings. You need to show the permit for the return trip, and the shuttles leave Centreline Place at 3pm, 4:55pm, 5:35pm and 6:40pm after the match.
Is public transport free with a ticket?
Yes. With a pre-purchased ticket you can travel free on regular Queensland Rail City network trains, Kinetic buses and the G:link, excluding Airtrain and Brisbane City Council ferries. Translink says free travel begins four hours before and concludes four hours after the match. The stadium’s page says free travel runs until the last service of the day, so use Translink’s times for this event. You must show a valid ticket, and if you collect your ticket at the venue you only get a free return journey.

Are any train lines closed that weekend?
Translink’s event page lists a weekend track closure on Saturday 31 October and Sunday 1 November, but its wording is inconsistent. It names the Ipswich/Rosewood and Springfield lines, then says railbuses will replace trains between Boggo Road and Varsity Lakes stations. Varsity Lakes is on the Gold Coast line.

The separate Translink service notice for that weekend covers the Ipswich/Rosewood and Springfield lines only, from 11:30pm on Friday 30 October to the last service on Sunday 1 November, with railbuses between Roma Street and Rosewood and Springfield Central. Queensland Rail’s 12-month calendar also lists only Roma Street to Rosewood and Springfield Central for 31 October. We found no Gold Coast line closure for that Saturday, but the event page wording means you should check the journey planner for the day before you travel.
Where is the drop-off point?
- Taxi and rideshare ranks: Centreline Place.
- General drop-off and pick-up: the corner of Robina Town Centre Drive and Cheltenham Drive, about 500 metres from the stadium.
- Drop-off for patrons with a Queensland Disability Parking Permit: between Cheltenham Drive and Promethean Way.
- Walking: Robina Town Centre is about 1.4 kilometres away, and bike racks are on the Eastern Plaza near Gates D and E.

Robina Station has a lift, and Robina Bus Interchange is beside it, according to the stadium. If you are visiting Robina Hospital the same day, see our Robina Hospital parking guide.
