Princess Polly opens its first Brisbane store at Westfield Chermside on Saturday 31 October 2026. The mall doors open at 6am and the store doors open at 8am, according to Westfield Chermside’s event page. The store is on Level 2, near Myer, at the corner of Gympie and Hamilton Roads in Chermside, Queensland.
Everything below is as of Tuesday 27 October 2026. Westfield notes that upcoming events are subject to change, so check the event page again on Friday if you plan to go early.
What time does Princess Polly open at Chermside?

Westfield’s page for the opening gives two start times on Saturday 31 October, and they are different doors:
| What | Time on Saturday 31 October |
|---|---|
| Westfield Chermside mall doors | 6am |
| Princess Polly store doors | 8am |
| Event listed on Westfield’s page | 8am to 5:30pm |
| Centre trading hours, Saturday 31 October | 9am to 5pm |
The last two rows do not match. The event is listed to 5:30pm, while the centre’s opening-hours page shows 9am to 5pm for the same Saturday. Westfield does not explain the difference, so if you plan to be there late in the day, ask the Chermside Concierge on 07 3117 5300.
The Princess Polly store locator on princesspolly.com.au shows a Chermside, Brisbane entry on 27 October, but with no address, opening date or regular hours. Its two listed Australian stores on that page are at Westfield Bondi Junction in New South Wales and Pacific Fair in Broadbeach Waters, Queensland. The Chermside store’s everyday hours are not published yet.
How does the opening-day queue work?
Westfield publishes queuing rules for the day, and they matter if you want to be among the first in:
- The official queue begins at the entrance near Pappa Flock on Level 2, in the outdoor dining precinct.
- You can start lining up before 6am, but every queue must form at that Pappa Flock entrance.
- The Princess Polly team hands out numbered wristbands to customers waiting inside the designated queuing area.
- When the centre doors open at 6am, security escorts customers from the Pappa Flock entrance to the queuing zones near the store.
- Nobody can hold or reserve a place for someone else. To keep your position and get a wristband, you must be physically in the queuing area.
Westfield’s page does not say how many wristbands there are, or whether the store caps the number of people inside at one time. It also does not say when the wristband queue closes.

What do you get on opening day?
Westfield’s event page lists these opening-day offers from Princess Polly. All of them carry the note “T&Cs apply”, and the page says free gifts are available while stocks last:
| Offer | Condition on the page |
|---|---|
| Free Princess Polly hoodie | Spend $75 or more; a minimum spend applies |
| Free Princess Polly tote bag | With every purchase; no minimum spend applies |
| Complimentary in-store photobooth | Listed with no condition |
| Live DJs | Throughout the day |
| Surprise giveaways and exclusive freebies | Not itemised |
| Yo-Bar topping collaboration plus a free gem sheet | Described as limited time and exclusive |
The page does not say how many hoodies or tote bags are available. It also does not name the Yo-Bar location or what the topping is.
Is there a $1,000 shopping spree to win?
Yes, for Westfield members. Westfield is giving one winner a $1,000 prize made up of a $500 Westfield Gift Card and a $500 Princess Polly Gift Card. Entry is through the Westfield app from Thursday 15 October to Sunday 1 November 2026, and you can enter once a day. The terms on the page say it is open to Australian residents aged 16 and over, and you must be a Westfield member.
Visiting the Chermside Princess Polly store on opening day, Saturday 31 October, earns a bonus entry. The draw is at Westfield Chermside on Monday 2 November, and Westfield says the winner is published in the Westfield app on 2 November 2026.
How do I get to Westfield Chermside, and where do I park?

Westfield describes the centre as about 10 kilometres from the Brisbane CBD, with several access routes from Gympie Road and Hamilton Road. Its Getting Here page lists the car address as 395 Hamilton Road, Chermside.
Parking
The car park uses number plate recognition rather than paper tickets, and there is no boom gate at the entry. Westfield says you get 2 hours free, or 4 hours free if you download the Westfield app and use the member benefit. Rates on the parking page, valid Monday to Sunday, are:
| Time parked | Standard rate | Westfield member rate |
|---|---|---|
| Up to 2 hours | Free | Free |
| 2 to 2.5 hours | $4.00 | Free |
| 2.5 to 3 hours | $6.00 | Free |
| 3 to 3.5 hours | $8.00 | Free |
| 3.5 to 4 hours | $10.00 | Free |
| 4 to 4.5 hours | $12.00 | $8.00 |
| 4.5 to 5 hours | $14.00 | $10.00 |
| 5 to 5.5 hours | $16.00 | $12.00 |
| 5.5 to 6 hours | $18.00 | $14.00 |
| 6 hours or more | $36.00 | $36.00 |
The daily maximum and the overnight fee are both $36.00. Spend validation and cinema validation are not available at Westfield Chermside.
Westfield’s “best parking” list matches the outdoor dining area, where the opening-day queue starts, to the Level 3 Green and Grey car park, entered off Banfield Street. Westfield does not name a car park for Princess Polly itself. The Cinema Car Park (Level 1, White, entered off Hamilton Road) lists Myer among its nearest stores. The store is listed as near Myer, so that car park is one option. That match is our reading, not Westfield’s advice.
Bus, taxi and drop-off

A dedicated bus interchange for the centre is on Hamilton Road, with a go card top-up machine. Westfield lists these routes as stopping at Chermside: 320, 322, 325, 330, 333, 334, 335, 336, 337, 338, 340, 353, 354, 370, 598, 599 and 680, covering destinations from Mt Gravatt to Redcliffe and from Indooroopilly to Sandgate. Plan the trip on Translink, and check the Saturday timetable for your route before you leave.
Westfield says the taxi rank is outside the SmartClinics and Nando’s entrances. Black & White Cabs is 13 32 22. For Uber, Westfield says the best pick-up and drop-off point is at the Smart Clinics and Dan Murphy’s entrances. It adds that these areas may have a loading bay with a time limit, so read the signs.
Which other stores are opening at Chermside?

Westfield’s “Exciting new and upcoming stores” page splits the arrivals into two groups. The shops listed as already open are Terrific Noodles (Level 2, near Betty’s Burgers), Milligram (Level 2, near Myer), Arms Of Eve (Level 1, near Myer), Red Lock Escape Rooms (Level 2, near Goodlife), Palermo Perfumes (Level 1, near Myer), Palm Bee (Level 1, near the main Food Court), Crocs (Level 1, near Myer) and Gold Class Head Spa (Level 1, Southern service Mall).

- Princess Polly, Level 2, near Myer (opening Saturday 31 October, per the event page)
- Haigh’s Chocolates, Level 1, near Woolworths
- VRG GRL, Level 1, near Target
- Elite Eleven, Level 2, near David Jones
- By Charlotte, which Westfield says is relocating to a bigger space, Level 1, near Target
- Luxury Escapes, Level 1, near Woolworths
The same Saturday is also Westfield Chermside’s Halloween Spooktacular, with a Spooky Carnival and Trail. Westfield’s page does not say where it sits in the centre or whether it affects the queue area. Santa’s arrival is on Sunday 8 November.
What are the centre’s trading hours this week?
These are the hours on Westfield’s opening-hours page on 27 October 2026:

Where else can I shop Princess Polly in Queensland?
Princess Polly’s locator lists one other Queensland store, at Pacific Fair on the Gold Coast. If you are on the Gold Coast and want parking details first, see our Pacific Fair parking guide. For the Chermside store, the Concierge is the best phone contact for centre questions: 07 3117 5300.
