WA School Zones: 40 km/h From 7:30am to 9am and 2:30pm to 4pm, 20 Safety Cameras Planned and 833 Infringements in 7 Weeks at the First (Perth, WA)
In Western Australia, the 40 km/h school zone speed limit applies on school days from 7:30am to 9:00am and from 2:30pm to 4:00pm, according to Main Roads Western Australia. The WA Government says the same windows apply to its new school zone safety cameras, which enforce the limit during the public school term. Main Roads adds that the hours in regional areas may vary, so the sign at each zone is the one to follow.
