Manly has three separate things on the same weekend: free live music across the town centre, a free surf teams competition on the beach, and a pink beach fitness morning on Saturday. Sounds of Manly runs from 9am to 5pm on Saturday 31 October and Sunday 1 November, and the Surf + Sound Boardriders Competition runs on Manly Beach on both days. The quickest way in without a car is the Manly Fast Ferry, which takes 20 minutes from Circular Quay. Sydney is on daylight saving time, so every time below is local Sydney time.

In NSW, drivers must obey the 40km/h school zone speed limit during the times shown on the school zone signs, according to Transport for NSW. Most school zones operate from 8am to 9:30am and 2:30pm to 4pm on notified school days, and Term 4 2026 runs from Tuesday 13 October to Thursday 17 December inclusive.
