Who counts as an “eligible patron” for the free 2 hours (the council does not define it on these pages), and casual entry prices

The Parramatta Aquatic Centre is at 7A Park Parade, and the first 2 hours in its car park are free for eligible patrons, after which parking is $4 per 30 minutes up to $40 a day. The PAC says its car park may be very busy at peak times, so the council also points drivers to the Justice Precinct Car Park, a short walk away.

This guide combines the council’s Getting to the PAC, Opening Hours and Centre FAQs pages with its Where to Park in Parramatta page, all read on Saturday 7 November 2026. Prices are as of that date.

How does parking at the PAC work?

Question What the council says
Where do I enter? Via Park Parade, Parramatta
How long is it free? The first 2 hours, for eligible patrons
What does it cost after that? $4 per 30 minutes; the capped daily rate is $40
Is it busy? The PAC is in the Parramatta CBD, so the car park may be very busy during peak periods; the FAQ calls onsite parking “limited”
Accessible parking? Spaces are available within the precinct; display your mobility permit
Drop-off? Zone near the main entrance, reached by doing a lap through the car park and dropping off to the right of the entrance; no charge within a grace period
Stop and drop? 5 bays of 5 minutes each can be used as stop ‘n’ drop bays

The council’s car park page lists the PAC car park as one of its five 24-hour parking stations, with a $4 fee every 30 minutes up to a maximum of $40 and a daily maximum fee for 10 hours or more. It also publishes Conditions of Use for its car parks as a PDF.

What is the right-hand turn rule?

A no right-hand turn rule applies when entering and exiting the PAC car park between 7am and 10am every day. The council gives a workaround for drivers who need to reach the Justice Precinct Car Park from the PAC during those hours: turn left into Park Parade, continue to Hassall Street, turn left and go around the roundabout, then turn right back into Park Parade.

What if the PAC car park is full?

The council lists the Justice Precinct Car Park, 4-14 Hunter Street, as extra parking a short walk away. The FAQ puts it at a 5-minute walk. The council says the 2-hour free parking will be honoured there for eligible PAC patrons, with these steps:

  • Give your licence plate number to the PAC Customer Service desk when you visit.
  • Validations cannot be made from inside the Justice Precinct car park.
  • Once validated, the Justice Precinct boom recognises your licence plate on exit and applies the 2 hours free.

The council’s published rates for Justice Precinct are below. They apply Monday to Saturday; on Sundays the first 2 hours are free, then a flat $10.

Time (Monday to Saturday) Justice Precinct rate
0 to 1 hour $4.00
1 to 2 hours $7.00
2 to 3 hours $11.00
3 to 5 hours $14.00
5 to 18 hours $14.00 (special rate “until further notice”)
18 to 24 hours $29.00

Our guide to council car parks in Parramatta CBD covers every council car park in the same way.
