Sculpture on the Edge 2026 runs at Flaxton Gardens from Saturday 28 November to Sunday 6 December, open 8am to 3pm each day, with adult daily admission at $20. An opening night celebration for ticket holders is held the evening before, on Friday 27 November from 5:30pm to 8:30pm.
Everything below comes from the event’s own website, sculptureontheedge.com.au, and the organiser’s two Humanitix booking pages, checked on 7 November 2026. The organiser is Arts Connect Inc, which describes itself on Humanitix as a member-based not-for-profit art organisation on the Sunshine Coast.

When is Sculpture on the Edge 2026?
| What | Date and time |
|---|---|
| Opening Night Celebration | Friday 27 November, 5:30pm to 8:30pm |
| Exhibition, first day | Saturday 28 November, 8am to 3pm |
| Exhibition, last day | Sunday 6 December, 8am to 3pm |
| Volunteering window on Humanitix | Monday 23 November, 8am, to Monday 7 December, 3pm |
The organiser’s website calls the 2026 edition the 17th celebratory year and describes a 9-day event. It lists the previous edition, in 2025, as 29 November to 7 December, so this year’s dates are one day earlier on the calendar.
How much are tickets?
| Ticket | Price on the organiser’s website |
|---|---|
| Adults | $20 |
| Seniors and concession | $15 |
| Children under 16 | Free |
Daily admission tickets are booked through Humanitix. The website says that during the booking process you can look out for the option to buy tickets to win art, technology and wellness prizes, with a total prize pool value of $7,780.

Which session times can you book?
The Humanitix page lists four sessions on each of the nine days, from Saturday 28 November to Sunday 6 December:
| Session | Time (AEST) |
|---|---|
| 1 | 8am to 10am |
| 2 | 10am to 12pm |
| 3 | 12pm to 2pm |
| 4 | 1:30pm to 3pm |
The conditions of entry say tickets are available for sessions across the opening hours of 8am to 3pm, and that a ticket is valid for a single entry at any time within the period selected.
What are the conditions of entry?
- Pets are not permitted, except registered service animals.
- Visitors agree to the free use of their image for advertising and marketing current and future events.
- Refunds are not offered, but a ticket can be swapped to another session if capacity permits.

Can you book a table for lunch?
No. The Humanitix page says Sculpture on the Edge takes over Flaxton Gardens, so the food and beverage offering differs from the venue’s usual dining experience. It says no table reservations are available. Instead, a festival-style selection of food and beverage options from multiple vendors is available to buy onsite.
What is on at the opening night?
The Opening Night Celebration is on Friday 27 November from 5:30pm to 8:30pm. The organiser describes it as a chance to meet the artists, see the exhibition after hours and view the sculptures illuminated. The Humanitix page lists what a ticket includes:
- A meet and greet with exhibiting artists.
- The announcement of the award winners.
- Live music and entertainment.
- Tapas and a complimentary drink.
- Exclusive evening access to the exhibition.
The page says tickets are available until sold out, bookings are essential and the event is 18+. Refunds are available up to 7 days before the event. The organiser’s website adds that guests can view and purchase sculptures before the exhibition opens to the public.
How many sculptures and artists are there?
The organiser’s website says 96 artists from across Australia are showing work in the outdoor and indoor galleries in 2026. It describes an exhibition of indoor and outdoor sculptures, all of which are for sale.

Where is Flaxton Gardens?
The organiser’s website gives the venue as Flaxton Gardens, 313-323 Flaxton Drive, Flaxton, Sunshine Coast, QLD. The Humanitix pages give 313-327 Flaxton Dr, Flaxton QLD 4560. The two street-number ranges differ, and the organiser has not said which is correct.
The Flaxton Gardens website describes the venue as in the Sunshine Coast Hinterland, between Maleny and Noosa. The event website suggests that visitors explore the nearby villages of Maleny, Montville and Mapleton while they are in the area.
The pages checked do not say where visitors should park or which buses stop nearby, so this guide does not give either. Our guide to Sunshine Coast bus fares covers the Hinterland fare offer.
Can you volunteer?
The event website has a volunteers page. It says no experience is needed and describes roles from welcoming visitors to helping artists install their works. It says volunteers get access to exclusive perks. Humanitix lists a separate volunteering event running from Monday 23 November to Monday 7 December.
Is there a prize draw for early bird tickets?
The Humanitix page says every eligible early bird ticket gains an entry into a draw to win two nights at Narrows Escape Luxury Rainforest Retreat in the Sunshine Coast Hinterland, with a prize value of $1,230. It says entrants must be over 18 and that the entry is drawn on 9 November 2026. After that date, only the raffle options in the booking process are mentioned.
