Area Dress standard
General Admission No formal dress code. The club recommends smart dress and asks guests to avoid fancy dress costumes, tattered clothing or shoes, thongs or going barefoot, and offensive attire. Jockey outfits or clothing resembling official racing attire are not permitted. Dining rooms and function venues in General Admission require smart casual.
Members Reserve (including guests in its dining rooms) Ladies: a dress, skirt and blouse, or tailored pants with a dress top, with heels, dress shoes or dress flats. Gentlemen: a suit with collared shirt and tie, and dress shoes. During NSW daylight saving, jackets are optional but ties are still required.

The club’s Members Reserve list of items it will not accept includes denim, shorts, playsuits, garments that show the midriff, sandals, joggers and caps. The dress code applies to children aged 14 and over. Overseas visitors may wear the formal national dress of their country. If you need an adjustment for medical or accessibility reasons, the club asks you to email members@australianturfclub.com.au before the day.
