When can I go, and how do the sessions work?

Council’s event page describes an after-dark walk through illuminated garden trails with Christmas light installations, festive displays and family photo spots. It is a short, self-guided experience through the botanical gardens, and Council expects most guests to spend between 30 and 60 minutes on it.

Everyone aged 1 and over needs a ticket. Where do I park?

Council says there is ample free parking at the Redlands IndigiScapes Centre and at the MyHorizon Centre, both reached via Runnymede Road in Capalaba. The page does not say how far the MyHorizon Centre is from the garden entrance, and it does not describe bus or train options, so those are not confirmed here.

Council says no food or drink other than water may be taken onto the trail. Chairs, blankets, eskies, trolleys and picnic items are not allowed on the trail and must go back to your vehicle or be secured before you enter. Prams, wheelchairs and walkers are permitted. The page warns that the walk winds through the botanical gardens and has some uneven ground.
