The Perth Wildcats have three home games at RAC Arena in the next two weeks: Sunday 8 November against the Cairns Taipans at 2pm, Thursday 12 November against the Tasmania JackJumpers at 6:30pm, and Saturday 14 November against the Illawarra Hawks at 6:30pm. The easiest way in is the train to Perth Station or Perth Underground, a short walk from the arena, and the Transperth logo on your ticket includes free travel for three hours either side of the game.

This guide uses RAC Arena’s event, parking and conditions of entry pages and Transperth’s event pages and service updates, checked on Saturday 31 October 2026. Perth uses Australian Western Standard Time (UTC+8), with no daylight saving, so all times are Perth times.

These times are on the RAC Arena pages for the Cairns Taipans game, the JackJumpers game and the Hawks game. The arena says timings are subject to change without notice. Transperth’s pages give the same doors and start times for all three. All three are listed as all ages, and children aged 3 years and younger can sit on the lap of an accompanying adult ticket holder for free.

How much are tickets?

RAC Arena’s event pages do not list prices. They say general sale began at 10am AWST on Monday 3 August 2026 through Ticketek, which is the arena’s only authorised ticketing agency. You can buy online, by calling 13 28 49, or at a Ticketek agency. All tickets, whether bought online, by phone or at an outlet, are delivered closer to the event date. We have not seen a price list, so check Ticketek for what is left for your game.

Is public transport free with my ticket?

Yes, if your ticket has the Transperth logo. RAC Arena’s transportation page says you can show your ticket on a train or bus up to three hours before and after the event. Transperth’s event pages say the ticket covers all Transperth services for three hours before, during and after the game, or until end of service, whichever comes first. You show it to the driver or inspector if asked.

  • You must have your event ticket on you. If you collect it at the venue, you pay a normal fare to get there.
  • Transperth says to catch a train into Perth Station or Perth Underground and take a short walk to RAC Arena.
  • Timetabled bus and train services run before the event. There are no additional bus services at suburban stations to connect with the extra trains.
  • Parking at Transperth train stations is free on weekends and public holidays, so it is free for the Sunday and Saturday games.

Transperth also makes travel free on Sundays for SmartRider and contactless users, as our Sunday travel guide explains.

Which trains leave after Thursday 12 November?

Transperth lists these departures for the 6:30pm game, which ends at about 8:30pm.

Armadale Perth Station, Platform 4 8.48pm, 9.03pm, 9.18pm, 9.41pm (the 9.41pm departs from Platform 5)

The Yanchep Line has a catch on this night. Transperth’s event page says the line will be disrupted between Perth and Whitfords stations from about 9.21pm, with train replacement buses operating. The service update covers Monday 9 to Thursday 12 November, with the last full line service leaving Perth Underground at 9.21pm and Yanchep Station at 8.28pm, and replacement Route 904 running between Perth and Whitfords while trains are cancelled. So the 9.21pm departure is the last full Yanchep Line train, and the 8.36pm, 8.51pm and 9.06pm trains are your better options if you live north of Whitfords. Replacement buses may not connect with timetabled bus and train services, so allow extra time.

Transperth’s page for the Saturday game lists no line disruptions that night. The same day, HBF Park hosts the AUSX Supercross, which also includes Transperth travel. Our AUSX guide covers that event, and our ODI guide covers the cricket at Optus Stadium the day before.

Can I park at RAC Arena?

Yes. RAC Arena’s car park is reached from Market Street or Milligan Street. It is open from 5:30am to midnight Monday to Thursday and open 24 hours from Friday to Sunday. A $30 flat rate applies during each event, and the usual rates apply before and after the event rate period. The arena’s event pages say to check back closer to the date for the hours the $30 rate is in effect, and they had not published them when we checked.

Regular rate Price

Weekends, Saturday and Sunday, 6am to 6pm $8.00 flat
Evenings, every day, 6pm to midnight $12.00 flat

What can I bring in?

RAC Arena says bags larger than A4, including handbags and baby bags, are not allowed inside. Its conditions of entry also list these items as prohibited unless the owner authorises them:

  • Professional cameras with detachable or telephoto lenses, audio and visual recording devices, selfie sticks, monopods and tripods.
  • Cans, bottles and containers, eskies and hard cased cooler bags, and external food and drink.
  • Bags and backpacks larger than an A4 sheet of paper.
  • Banners, posters, flags or signs larger than an A3 sheet of paper.
  • Musical instruments including horns, trumpets and sirens, and other noise making devices.
  • Glo-sticks, lasers, aerosol canisters and chewing gum.

You may bring one sealed 600mL PET bottle of water per person, except when a full decant policy is in place. Strollers, baby carriers and prams are not permitted, and staff direct patrons to the cloakroom for them. Evolv walkthrough scanners are in place at all entrances, a manual screening option is available on request, and the arena asks you to allow plenty of time for arrival. Smoking, including e-cigarettes, is prohibited except in designated areas. Lost property is handled on (08) 6365 0700 between 8:30am and 5:00pm Monday to Friday, and the arena keeps items for up to three months.

How do I plan the day?

  1. Buy your ticket from Ticketek and check that it carries the Transperth logo if you want free travel.
  2. Take a train to Perth Station or Perth Underground and walk to RAC Arena, leaving extra time for the security scanners.
  3. Leave large bags, prams and outside drinks at home, apart from one sealed 600mL water bottle.
  4. Pick your train home from the table for your game, and on Thursday 12 November remember the last full Yanchep Line train leaves Perth Underground at 9.21pm.
  5. If you drive, expect the $30 event rate, pay by card, and check the arena’s event page again closer to the day for the hours.
