Santa’s Arrival Parade at Hyperdome starts at 10am on Saturday 7 November 2026 outside BIG W, it is free, and an hour later the centre opens Santa’s new photo set in Centre Court; photo packages start from $28.95 and run every day until Thursday 24 December. Queensland has no daylight saving, so these are Brisbane times.
This guide uses only the centre’s own pages (the parade page, the Santa photos page, the Christmas concert page, the gift-wrapping page, Getting Here and Trading Hours), all read on 31 October 2026. Where the centre has not published something, such as session times for the special Santa visits, the article says so instead of guessing.
What time is the parade and where does it go?
| Time | What happens | Where |
|---|---|---|
| 10am | Santa’s Arrival Parade, led by a brass band | Starts outside BIG W, then through the centre |
| After the parade | The parade travels through the Piazza and The Market Room | Finishes at Santa’s new home “Under the Dome” in Centre Court |
| 11am | Ribbon-cutting ceremony with Santa and a “special guest” | Centre Court |
The centre names these characters for the parade: Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer, Frosty the Snowman, the Gingerbread Man, Mrs Claus and Santa’s helpers. It also lists baubles on skates, elves and reindeer stilt walkers. The parade is free. The centre’s page does not say how long the parade runs, so allow time on either side of 10am and 11am.

How much are Santa photos, and when can I go?
The Santa Photography season is Saturday 7 November to Thursday 24 December 2026, in Centre Court, with packages from $28.95. The centre says digital and printed photo packages are available on the day, and sessions are with Santa and a professional photographer, with time for a chat and a wish list handover. There is pram and accessible access.
Every booking includes an exclusive Hyperdome Christmas Storybook, written and illustrated by Logan-based author and illustrator Rebecca Timmis, which the centre says features familiar local landmarks.
The centre lists three special sessions, available “on selected dates” only:
- Pet photography: bring a pet for a visit with Santa
- Sensitive Santa: a quieter, more relaxed environment for children and families who may benefit from a calmer Santa experience
- My First Christmas: a baby’s first Christmas photo
Session dates and times are on the centre’s online booking site, which this guide did not read, so check it before you plan around a particular date.

Where do I park, and can I take a bus?
The centre says it has over 4,000 free car parking spaces, around 1,500 of them undercover and another 480 under sails. It lists 37 parents-with-prams spaces and 58 accessible spaces near the entries. Drivers from Brisbane heading south, and from the Gold Coast heading north, are both told to take the Bryants Road exit, Exit 28, off the Pacific Highway and M1; from the Gold Coast, the centre says to drive on into Mandew Street.
The centre’s Getting Here page says nothing specific about parking on 7 November, so any extra pressure on the car parks that morning is unknown. If you want a parade spot, arriving before 10am is a judgement call, not a published warning.
By bus, the centre lists Logan City Bus Service routes 555, 560, 562, 563, 565, 570, 572, 573, 574 and 575. The bus interchange is on the eastern side of the centre, in the car park outside Entry 1, near Kmart. For timetables call Translink on 13 12 30 or use translink.com.au; this guide did not check Saturday times for individual routes.

What else is on at Hyperdome this Christmas?

The centre suggests booking a table at one of the Piazza’s restaurants beforehand.
For gift wrapping, the centre says session times will vary and “are subject to volunteer availability and may change”, so check the opening hours on its page before you carry bags across the centre.
