The Boost Mobile AUSX Supercross Championship comes to HBF Park on Saturday 14 November, with main gates at 5pm and racing from 6pm. HBF Park and AUSX both say it is the first time since 2009 that stadium Supercross has returned to Western Australia. The nearest train station is Claisebrook, a short walk from the ground, and parking around the stadium is very limited.

This guide uses HBF Park’s event, event day, getting-here and conditions-of-entry pages, the AUSX Perth pages and Transperth’s service updates list, checked on Tuesday 27 October 2026. Perth uses Australian Western Standard Time (UTC+8), with no daylight saving, so all times here are Perth times. Both organisers say times are approximate and subject to change.

What time do the gates open and when does the racing start?

What Time
Fan Fest opens 12:00pm (HBF Park) or 1:00pm (AUSX schedule page)
Early entry gates 2:30pm (VIP and other early entry ticket holders)
Main gates 5:00pm
Main event starts 6:00pm
Event concludes 9:30pm (approx.)

The HBF Park event page gives a 12:00pm Fan Fest opening, while the AUSX Perth schedule page says 1:00pm. The AUSX page also says the full event schedule will be released closer to the date, and describes the night as supercross racing, a Freestyle Kings show and a stadium show. AUSX’s FAQ says early entry to watch qualifying comes with VIP, Ultimate VIP, Super Suite Lounge, Athlete Lounge 2-Day, and Platinum and Gold early entry tickets, and that upgrades can be made on the day at the event.

HBF Park says child pricing applies to ages 3 to 12, concessions are for pensioners (aged, disability, veterans), and student and senior card holders, and children under 3 are free if they do not occupy a seat. It also says prices on Ticketmaster at the time of purchase are the applicable prices, and there is a limit of 10 tickets per transaction. AUSX says it does not take group bookings on its standard tickets, that a digital ticket is as valid as a physical one as long as each guest has their own, and that general tickets are sold only through Ticketmaster. The Fan Fest is free for all ticket holders.

What is Fan Fest?

AUSX says the Fan Fest runs all afternoon and is included with every event ticket. It lists rider signings and photo opportunities, factory team zones, sponsor activations, games and giveaways, official AUSX merchandise, food trucks and drinks. The organisers say world-class freestyle motocross athletes will also perform across HBF Park during the night. AUSX says Jo Shimoda, who it describes as the 2025 SMX World Championship winner, is among an international rider line-up.

How do I get there by train?

AUSX’s event information says HBF Park is walking distance from the Perth CBD and Northbridge, that Claisebrook Station is a short walk, and that Perth Airport is about 12km away. HBF Park also names East Perth Station and McIvor Station as nearby, and its getting-here page lists these bus stops and routes:

Stop Routes (as listed by HBF Park)
Lord St, before Murchison Tce 46 and 48 (Morley Bus Station); 41, 43 and 44 (Bayswater); 42 (Maylands)
Railway Pde 55 (Bassendean)
Beaufort St, before Bulwer St 21 and 22 (Morley Bus Station); 67, 68 and 69 (Mirrabooka Bus Station)

HBF Park’s event day information page says your ticket to the event includes travel on all Transperth services for three hours before, during and for three hours after the event, and that you show your ticket to the driver or inspector. That page covers all events at the stadium, and when we checked, Transperth’s own events list did not yet include the Supercross, only the Glory games on 1 and 7 November. AUSX’s FAQ says updated information on public transport, shuttles and parking will be posted for each location closer to the event. Until one of them confirms it, check your ticket and Transperth’s page before you rely on included travel.

Saturday is a weekend, so Transperth parking at its train stations is free, according to its event pages. If you stay for the Sunday, Transperth’s service updates list afternoon closures on Sunday 15 November on the Armadale, Thornlie-Cockburn, Airport, Ellenbrook and Midland lines; the notices have the details.

Can I park near HBF Park?

HBF Park says parking around the ground is very limited, with most areas restricted to residents only through the City of Vincent, and asks patrons to read street parking signs carefully. Depending on the event, it lists these options:

Where What HBF Park says
Pier Street, between Brisbane and Brewer Streets Ticket parking $3.40 an hour, coins or EasyPark only; do not park in the residential slip lane on the far west side
Brewer Street (north side) and Stirling Street Ticket parking $3.40 an hour
Brisbane Street car park Ticket parking 7am to midnight, Monday to Sunday; first hour free, then payment for each additional hour
Loton Park ACROD permit holders only, entry from Lord Street, $10 per vehicle, valid booking required
Also listed Royal Street, Central TAFE (Fielder Street), Royal Perth Hospital (Moore Street), Newcastle Street, William Street and East Perth Train Station

Pricing is subject to change, and HBF Park points to the City of Vincent website. For drop-offs, the best area for taxis and rideshare is Wright Street, and a bus and small charter station is on Bulwer Street. Bike racks are outside Gate 1, on Pier Street between Gates 2 and 3, and at the north end of Loton Park opposite Gate 7.

What can I bring in?

AUSX says what is and is not permitted is decided by each venue, so HBF Park’s conditions of entry apply. They list as commonly prohibited:

  • Backpacks or oversized bags that cannot fit under a seat.
  • Umbrellas, and strollers or prams.
  • Flags or banners over 1 metre, and flag poles over 1.5 metres.
  • Professional cameras and recording devices with detachable lenses larger than 200mm.
  • Glass and cans, including aerosol cans, alcohol and drugs.
  • Musical instruments and whistles unless a music pass has been issued.

Prohibited items are not held at the gate, so they must be cloaked, and cloaking is at Gate 1. Patrons may bring food for individual consumption if it is packed appropriately and can be viewed by staff or security. HBF Park is a cashless venue, so food and drink outlets take cards only. Smoking and vaping are not allowed anywhere in the venue, and pass-outs are available at the gates. The event terms also say motorcycle sport is an inherently dangerous activity and spectators attend at their own risk.

What if I need accessible seating?

AUSX says accessible tickets can be bought from the Ticketmaster interactive seat map, by calling Ticketmaster on 1300 446 925, or through the AUSX form with Accessible Bookings as the topic. For ACROD permit parking, HBF Park lists Loton Park, entered from Lord Street, at $10 per vehicle with a valid booking required.

Is anything else on at HBF Park?

The Glory double header on Sunday 1 November is covered in our guide to Glory v Adelaide United, and HBF Park also lists Glory v Newcastle Jets and Canberra United on Saturday 7 November. The AUSX site lists other rounds in Auckland on 31 October, Geelong on 7 November and Newcastle on 28 November.

How do I plan the night?

  1. Buy tickets through Ticketmaster only, and have each guest’s own digital ticket ready.
  2. Take a train to Claisebrook Station and walk to the gate on your ticket.
  3. Leave umbrellas, prams, glass and large bags at home, and bring a card because the venue is cashless.
  4. In the week of 14 November, check AUSX’s pages for the full schedule and transport information, and the Transperth events list.
  5. If you drive, read every street sign and allow time to walk from the streets listed above.
