Parking at Peninsula University Hospital in Frankston is free for the first 30 minutes, then $11.00 for up to an hour, rising to a maximum of $19.00 a day, and the same rates now apply at Rosebud Hospital and The Mornington Centre, where fees started on 27 October 2026. The main multi-level car park is reached through Gate 1 on Yuille Street. This guide uses the Bayside Health Peninsula website, read on 7 November 2026; the hospital group was previously known as Peninsula Health and some pages still carry that name.
How much does hospital parking cost?
The health service says the same rates apply across all of its major sites: Peninsula University Hospital, Rosebud Hospital, The Mornington Centre and the Golf Links Road Rehabilitation Centre. All prices include GST.

|---|---|---|
| First 30 minutes | Free (use the entry ticket to exit; no pay station) | No charge |
| Up to 1 hour | $11.00 | $6.00 |

Concession card holders get the discount by attending the Peninsula University Hospital cashier at the main reception. The cards accepted are the Centrelink Pensioner Concession Card, the Veterans’ Affairs Pensioner Concession Card, the Centrelink Health Care Card and the Veterans Affairs Card Holder card (as the page words it). Parking is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, subject to availability.

Which car park and gate do I use at Frankston?
Peninsula University Hospital is at 2 Hastings Road, Frankston. The map page says the main entrance is reached via Gate 2 on Yuille Street, the Emergency Department via Gate 3 on Hastings Road, and the car parks P1 and P3 via Gate 1 or Gate 5.
| Where you are going | What the hospital recommends |
|---|---|
| Main tower (Building T) | The public multi-level car park (P1) on Yuille Street, via Gate 1; paid parking |
| East Entrance (former main entrance) or the Integrated Health Centre | Visitor parking P3, via Gate 5 and Gate 6 from Hastings Road |
| Emergency Department, pick-up or drop-off | Limited short-term parking via Gate 3, Hastings Road |
| Emergency Department, longer stay | The visitor car park next to the hospital (P1), via Gate 1 on Yuille Street |
| Disabled parking permit holders | Designated spaces in the Emergency Department drop-off area, or longer-term parking in the public multi-level car parks |
The maximum height clearance for vehicles in the multi-level car park is 2.1 metres. The hospital says there may be a wait or queue to enter the car park during peak times, between 11am and 3pm, and suggests arriving early or using other local parking options. Its car parking page links to a separate page on parking in surrounding streets, which this guide has not read, so it gives no street rules.
The map page also warns that construction works are happening on the hospital site and may affect your path of travel, and that there are wayfinding kiosks at the main entrance and the East Entrance.

How do I pay?
The health service says you can pay for parking using the EasyPark app, by card or at a parking meter. You enter your vehicle registration number when paying, and no ticket is required. For the free first 30 minutes, the car park uses an entry ticket to exit without going to a pay station.
- EasyPark digital permit: you can apply for and manage a digital permit online when parking at any Bayside Health Peninsula site.
- Concession permit holders get a discount when parking via the meter and the EasyPark app.
- The EasyPark page links to resources on digital permits, a concession patient permit and using the mobile app; this guide has not read those, so it gives no permit conditions.
What changed at Rosebud and Mornington?
Parking fees are in place at Rosebud Hospital and The Mornington Centre from 27 October 2026, matching the other hospital sites in Frankston and on the Mornington Peninsula. The health service gives these reasons: to maintain equitable, safe access to parking close to its hospitals, to support the maintenance and management of its car parks, and to reduce misuse of its limited parking.
| Site | What the health service says about parking |
|---|---|
| Rosebud Hospital | Fees from 27 October 2026. Limited car parks at the front of the campus for the Emergency Department; a drop-off and pick-up area at the main entrance; inpatient ward parking at the rear (speak to your healthcare team). Community Health and Dental: free hourly parking at the rear |
| The Mornington Centre | Fees from 27 October 2026. The page gives no gate or street detail |
| Golf Links Road Rehabilitation Centre | Paid parking at hourly rates |

Can I get there by train, bus or taxi?
The health service says Peninsula University Hospital is close to public transport and is a 15-minute walk from Frankston Station. Rosebud Hospital is served by bus or taxi, and The Mornington Centre by bus, train or taxi.
| Site | Bus routes listed by the hospital |
|---|---|
| Peninsula University Hospital, Hastings Road | 774, 775, 776, 782, 783 |
| Peninsula University Hospital, Yuille Street | 772, 773, 774 |
| Rosebud Hospital, Braidwood Avenue | 787 |
| Rosebud Hospital, Point Nepean Road | 788 |
For timetables, the hospital points to the Public Transport Victoria website. For taxis, it lists Frankston Taxi Service on 03 9786 3322 and 13CABS Melbourne on 132 227, and says you can download the Uber app.

What are the visiting hours and who do I call?
The visitor guidelines say people are welcome at any Bayside Health Peninsula location between 8am and 8pm. Visitors should not enter if they feel unwell or have had a positive COVID-19 test in the last seven days, and should practise hand hygiene. The service recommends a surgical mask, and you may be required to wear one in certain clinical areas.
| Who | Number |

| Peninsula University Hospital | (03) 9784 7777 |
| Rosebud Hospital | 03 5986 0666 |

What has not been confirmed?
- The number of spaces in P1 and P3, and whether a car park is full: the hospital gives neither.
- A street address, car park or gate for The Mornington Centre: the page does not give one.
- The EasyPark app terms and any permit conditions: the linked pages were not read.
- Any future change to the fee table: the health service gives the rates without an end date.
