There is no dedicated on-site parking at Miami Marketta, the street-food night market at 23 Hillcrest Parade in Miami. The venue’s advice is to come early, park along Pacific Avenue to avoid residential streets, and use public transport where you can. Entry is free from 5pm, Wednesday to Saturday, and you do not need to book.
The details below come from Miami Marketta’s own night market and accessibility pages, checked on 18 October 2026. The two pages differ on a few points, and we note where.
When is Miami Marketta open?
The venue’s website says it opens its doors for free from Wednesday to Saturday from 5pm, with no bookings needed. Its accessibility page says the same, adds that you can book a table online if you prefer, and says it does not take bookings for groups under 8 people. The market has seating for up to 500 people and is fully licensed with boutique local beer and wine, and the night market page says there is no BYO.
| Day | What the venue lists |
|---|---|
| Wednesday | Street food from 5pm, with 15 global food vendors and The Gin Parlour open to the public (21 and 28 October) |
| Thursday | Street food from 5pm, with free live music on the Cargo Stage (22 and 29 October) |
| Friday | Street food, with free local music from 5pm (23 and 30 October) |
| Saturday | Street food, with free local music from 5pm (24 and 31 October) |
The venue says it is fully undercover. It also runs ticketed events, such as Sip and Sing Australia on Saturday 24 October and a drag bingo night on Wednesday 28 October, which have their own tickets. Check the venue’s What’s On page before you go, because the list changes.

Can I park at Miami Marketta?
Not on site. The night market page says “No dedicated on-site parking available” and recommends coming down early and parking along Pacific Avenue, to avoid parking on residential streets. The venue does not say how many spaces there are on Pacific Avenue, whether any time limits apply or how long it takes to fill. Check the signs on the street, because the City of Gold Coast sets parking rules by street.
The accessibility page adds that there is currently no designated accessible parking at the venue. It lists a designated drop-off point at the front of the venue, in the loading zone, for cars, Uber and taxis.
Can I get there by tram?
The two pages disagree. The night market page does not list the tram as a way to get there yet, while the accessibility page says to take the tram to Miami North Station and walk 300 metres east. The G:link operator’s station list includes Miami North, between Nobby Beach and Miami. We have not found a Translink notice for this stop, so check Translink’s journey planner before you rely on it. Every tram trip costs 50 cents as of October 2026; our G:link fares guide explains how to pay.

Is there a bus?
Yes. The venue says to catch a Surfside Buslines bus and get off at the Miami State High School stop on the Gold Coast Highway. The accessibility page gives this as the route from the south, and the tram as the route from the north. The night market page calls it a simple 400 metre walk, and the accessibility page says about 300 metres, so allow for a walk of around 300 to 400 metres. It sends passengers to Translink for the journey plan.

What about Uber, taxis and getting home?
The venue says Uber and taxis can pick up and drop off right out front at 23 Hillcrest Parade, and suggests 13 Cabs or Gold Coast Cabs. If you are heading north later in the evening, our late-night transport guide covers trams and taxis from Surfers Paradise on Friday and Saturday nights.

What is it like inside, and what do I need to know?
The accessibility page describes a laneway with street frontage at each end, studios down both sides and a high-energy crowd. Mona Lisa’s Lair offers the quietest area, with mixed seating including seats with backs and armrests, although the venue’s main page describes it as a separate adults-only (over 18) area near the front of the venue overlooking Hillcrest Avenue. That page calls the main public dining area very family friendly. The Gin Bar also has seats with backs and armrests. The Cargo Stage has high tables and stools and long tables with chairs that have backs but no armrests. Security staff are at the access points and can help with entry.
- Accessible toilet: a unisex accessible bathroom at the Hillcrest Parade end, with ambulant cubicles in the male and female toilets about halfway along.
- Bookings: not needed for walk-ins, and not taken for groups under 8 people.
- Money: the venue does not say which payment methods stalls accept, so bring a card and some cash.
