How do the fireworks and the exit work?

The fireworks start at 8pm and last about five minutes. The FAQ says the bright overhead flood lights are switched on only for leaving the site after the display, to keep people safe while they exit. Loud noise and bright lights may come from the main stage only, under sound regulations.

Is the North Lakes carols site accessible, and is there a parents room?

Question Answer on the event page
Wheelchairs and prams Kinsellas Sports Complex is wheelchair accessible; the main entrance is a ramp and the site is mostly flat, but the whole site is grass, and rain can make wheelchair and pram navigation harder
Accessible toilet One permanent accessible toilet on site
Parents room Yes, a private room next to the Event Information tent and first aid
Quiet zone No; the site is relatively small with no major noise concerns
First aid Trained first aiders on site; ask event staff or a volunteer
