Ticket holders for Foo Fighters at Suncorp Stadium on Thursday 5 November 2026 can travel free on Brisbane City Council buses and Queensland Rail City network trains from 12 noon, and free shuttle buses start at 5pm. There is no event parking: the stadium says to use public transport, and 15-minute parking limits apply on the streets around it.
This guide uses Translink’s event transport page, the Suncorp Stadium event page, the stadium’s parking and FAQ pages and Brisbane City Council’s special event parking page, checked on Wednesday 21 October 2026 and again on Monday 26 October 2026. The show is part of the band’s Take Cover Tour, and the stadium lists Full Flower Moon Band and Mini Skirt as the openers for Brisbane.
What time does it start?
On the stadium’s event page, read on Monday 26 October 2026, the times are no longer marked to be confirmed. It lists gates opening at 4:00pm and a show start, which it labels the event start, at 5:30pm, with a high Traffic Management Plan beginning at 4:30pm and a rideshare geofence starting at 10:10pm for 80 minutes. Translink’s page still lists the Foo Fighters at 8:00pm, with free travel beginning at 12:00pm and shuttle buses beginning at 5:00pm. The two pages do not explain the difference, so check your ticket for the times that apply to you.

How does free travel work for a concert?
Translink says a pre-purchased event ticket or a stadium membership card gives free travel to and from Suncorp Stadium on regular network-wide Brisbane City Council buses and Citytrains. Council ferries, the G: and Airtrain services are not included. The same Translink page gives the rule as free travel from 4 hours before to 4 hours after the event, but its timetable for this concert starts the free travel period at 12:00pm, and the stadium’s FAQ says free public transport begins from 12 midday for most concerts. Use 12 noon for this show.
The stadium’s FAQ says you must have your event ticket to ride and should show it to rail and bus staff as you board. Translink points to Ticketek for event tickets and the stadium’s event page names AXS as the authorised ticketing agent, so buy through the agent on the stadium’s page.
Where do the shuttle buses run from?
| Shuttle from | Last bus to the show | Return pick-up |
|---|---|---|
| Brisbane City | Regular intervals until 7:50pm | Maroon zone |
| Carindale | Regular intervals until 7:30pm | Blue zone |
| Chermside | Regular intervals until 7:30pm | Green zone |
| Eight Mile Plains/Mt Gravatt | Regular intervals until 7:30pm | Yellow zone |
| The Gap | Regular intervals until 7:30pm | Given Terrace shuttle stop |
Shuttles start at 5pm. Buses from the city, Carindale, Eight Mile Plains and Chermside use the Southern Plaza shuttle bus station, and the shuttle to The Gap leaves from the Given Terrace bays. Translink says the return buses run from one hour after the show ends. It also says to check for bus diversions on Caxton Street.

Which station is closest?
Milton station is 500m from the stadium via a pedestrian walkway to Southern Plaza. Roma Street station and the Roma Street busway station are 1.14km away. Regular bus stops are on Caxton Street, Given Terrace and Milton Road. For trains, Translink says to check back closer to the concert date to see whether extra trains will run.

What are the parking rules?
The stadium’s parking page says there is no parking on event days. Strict parking restrictions and penalties apply within the Lang Park Traffic Area, about a 1.5km radius around the stadium. Fifteen-minute limits generally apply there from two hours before gates open until after the event, unless signed otherwise, and on-the-spot fines are issued. Council’s page names the suburbs in that traffic area as including Petrie Terrace, Milton, Rosalie, Paddington and Red Hill, and says the restrictions run from two hours before the gates-open time until two hours after the event finishes. Unless you have a resident or visitor permit for the area, you can park for 15 minutes only.
With gates at 4:00pm on the stadium’s event page, the two-hours-before rule puts the start of the restrictions at 2:00pm. The stadium also says it has a very limited number of parking spaces for people with disability, allocated by a lottery.

Who do I call?
The stadium says a concert hotline will operate leading up to and on the night of the concert on (07) 3331 5040. You can also call the stadium reception on 3331 5000 during business hours or 3331 5168 after hours. For public transport, Translink is on 13 12 30, 24 hours a day.
