You get 3 hours of free parking a day at Macarthur Square, and it is ticketless: cameras read your number plate on the way in and out, so you need to remember your plate if you stay longer. The centre’s Commuter Car Park is partly closed until approximately 11 November while Campbelltown City Council does footpath and cycleway works, and the centre points train commuters to Tailby Street instead. Times and prices here are Sydney time and as of 7 November 2026.
This guide uses the Location and parking and Centre services pages on the Macarthur Square website, and the Campbelltown City Council project page for the works. We read them on 7 November 2026.

How much free parking do I get?
The centre offers 3 hours of free parking per day. It lists these extras:
| Situation | What the centre says |
|---|---|
| Any visit | 3 hours free per day (excludes Convenience Corner) |
| Evening | Free if you enter after 6pm and exit before midnight |
| Event Cinema ticket | One extra hour, so 4 hours free; take the printed ticket to the Guest Services Desk during core hours (excludes Convenience Corner) |
| Spending $150 or more | Free all-day parking if you spend $150 or more collectively in the centre during your visit |
| Convenience Corner | Limited to 60 minutes of free quick shop parking |
| Mobility parking scheme permit | Free all-day parking after you register with the Guest Services Desk |
The centre’s page does not list the prices that apply once the free time runs out, so we do not give them.
What is ticketless parking?
At all entry and exit gates the system automatically reads your car’s registration, so there is no ticket to collect or lose. The centre says your car registration is your ticket, and asks you to remember your licence plate number if you park for longer than the 3 free hours. To validate receipts, visit the Guest Services Desk on Level 3. Validation is only available while that desk is open. The weekly hours the centre prints under that note are:
| Day | Hours listed on the parking page |
|---|---|
| Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday | 9:00am to 5:30pm |
| Thursday | 9:00am to 9:00pm |
| Saturday | 9:00am to 5:30pm |
| Sunday | 10:00am to 5:00pm |
The centre’s pages place the Guest Services Desk in two ways: near David Jones on the parking page and near Sunglass Hut on the services page. Both say Level 3.

Is the Commuter Car Park open?
Partly. The centre says Campbelltown City Council is carrying out works around Macarthur Square to improve walking and bike movements between Western Sydney University and Campbelltown Hospital, and that the works will partly affect parking in the Commuter Car Park until approximately 11 November. Alternative commuter parking is at Tailby Street, Campbelltown, a short walk west of the centre towards Menangle.
The Council’s project page describes this as the Campbelltown Health and Education Precinct (CHEP) project, a Western Sydney Infrastructure Grant project valued at $9,434,485.00, with ALLY Infrastructure as the contractor. It covers connections between Campbelltown Hospital, Macarthur Clinical School, Macarthur Medical Research Centre, WSU Campbelltown and TAFE Campbelltown. The works are on Goldsmith Avenue, Gilchrist Drive, Kellicar Road, Parc Guell Drive, Parkside Crescent and Bolger Street, and the project is estimated to finish by mid-2027. The Council’s page does not give dates for each street.

Where is accessible and pram parking?
Accessible parking is close to all entrances, in wider spaces. The centre also provides extra-wide parking for people with small children in prams, close to all main entrances and the undercover parking area. Customers with an authorised mobility parking scheme permit get free all-day parking once they register with the Guest Services Desk.
Other services listed on the centre’s page:
- Changing Places facility on Level 3 near Rebel Sports, with a height-adjustable adult-sized change table and a ceiling hoist (own sling required; 180kg limit)
- Complimentary wheelchair and motorised scooter hire, with valid photo ID, booked through Guest Services
- Two free play areas, open during centre trading hours; children must be supervised
- Parents Rooms on Level 1 near Chemist Warehouse and on Level 3 at Toymate and near Factorie
- Two electric vehicle charging stations on Level 2A of the Blue Car Park

How do I get there by train, bus or taxi?
The centre says it is accessible by car, bus, taxi or train and links to Transport for NSW’s trip planner. Its page gives no bus routes, train times or walking times. Taxi ranks are at the Orange Car Park and on Kellicar Road. The centre also lists two breakdown pick-up points for roadside assistance: Kellicar Road and the taxi rank at the Orange Car Park.

Who do I contact?
The Guest Services team can be reached on (02) 4626 1466. The centre is at 200 Gilchrist Drive, Campbelltown NSW 2560.
