Collector Con returns to Penrith on Sunday 22 November 2026 with 400+ tables of toy, hobby and pop culture collectables across three halls at the Penrith Valley Regional Sports Centre, 30 Herbert Street, Cambridge Park. Kids aged 0 to 12 get free entry when they come with an adult or senior ticket. This guide covers the times, how the early entry tickets work, what is on sale and what else is on during the day, based on the organiser’s Penrith event page and home page, checked on 29 October.

What time does Collector Con Penrith open?

The Penrith event page lists the day as 8.30am to 3pm. The organiser sells these kinds of timing:

Ticket timing What the organiser says
Early Entry From 8.30am, a full hour of access before General Admission opens
General Admission From 9.30am and 11.30am
Kids 0 to 12 Free entry, purchased with an adult or senior entry ticket
Closing 3pm

The organiser’s home page describes the same event as 9.30am to 3pm, the same time general admission begins, while the Penrith page gives 8.30am to 3pm and says early entry tickets start at 8.30am. The organiser says tickets are available online, or at the door if the event has not sold out in advance.

What can I buy at Collector Con Penrith?

The organiser lists 400+ tables across three halls. The event page names these categories: modern and vintage action figures, trading cards, comics, dolls, diecast and model cars, LEGO, retro gaming, plush, J Toys, coins, POPS and pins. The home page adds anime, artist alley and memorabilia to the general list of what turns up at its Penrith, Campbelltown and Newcastle events. The organiser describes its events as run by collectors, for collectors.

What else is on during the day?

The Penrith page says activities return alongside the tables:

  • Tabletop role-play: Dungeons & Dragons, Daggerheart and Call of Cthulhu, with up to five other adventurers per table
  • Retro Gaming Station: a space inspired by the console generation, with iconic 1990s games, in Hall 1
  • Board Game Hub: the tabletop gaming space expands to include a board game library, reached on the upper level via the ramp
  • Fan groups: Star Walking Inc and Star Fleet; the Star Walking Inc team fundraises on the day
  • Cosplay competition: judges look for cosplay construction, and your outfit can be bought, made by you or a mix; the organiser has a pre-registration page
  • Magic: The Gathering with Mana Masters: Learn to Play for beginners, or bring a Commander deck for Sit and Play

Is there food at the venue?

Yes. The organiser says there will be food trucks, the venue kiosk and a coffee cart open from early in the day.

What does the organiser not say yet?

The event page gives the address but no parking or public transport advice, and it does not show adult ticket prices on the page; those are on the ticket link. We found no Transport for NSW page for this event. Use the Transport for NSW trip planner with the venue address for your route, and check the organiser’s Facebook page for last-minute notices.
