For Tame Impala at RAC Arena the simplest way in is the train: Perth Station and Perth Underground are a short walk from the arena, and on Saturday 24 October your event ticket includes travel on all Transperth services for three hours before, during and three hours after the show. If you are coming from the north on Sunday 25 October, the Yanchep Line is disrupted between Butler and Yanchep that evening, and the last full line train leaves Perth Underground at 7.21pm.
RAC Arena says a second Perth show was added to the Deadbeat tour because of demand, so the shows are Saturday 24 October and Sunday 25 October 2026, with Ninajirachi as special guest. This guide covers both nights, using the arena’s own event page and Transperth’s event and service update pages, checked on Monday 19 October 2026.
What time do doors open and when does the show start?
| What | Time |
|---|---|
| Box office opens | 5:00pm |
| RAC Local Lounge opens | 6:00pm |
| Doors open | 6:30pm |
| Support act | 7:30pm |
| Tame Impala | 8:45pm |
| Approximate show end | 10:45pm |
These are the times on the RAC Arena event page, which says timings are subject to change without notice. The event is all ages, and the arena recommends that anyone aged 15 and younger is accompanied by a parent or guardian. There is no free entry for babes in arms: everyone needs their own ticket.

Is public transport included with my ticket?
On Saturday 24 October, yes. Transperth’s page for the show says your ticket includes travel on all Transperth services for three hours before, during and for three hours after the event, and you show your ticket to the driver or inspector.
- You must have your event ticket with you to travel at no extra cost.
- If you plan to collect your ticket at the venue, Transperth says you will need to pay a normal fare to get there.
- If you drive to a station, parking there is free on weekends and public holidays, according to Transperth.
Transperth’s event page lists the Saturday show only. It does not mention the Sunday show, so check the ticket and Transperth’s events page for that night before relying on included travel. Sunday has its own free travel: Transperth says travel is free on every Sunday for SmartRider holders and people using contactless payments, on all bus, train and ferry trips, and a SmartRider must not be in a negative balance. Without a SmartRider or contactless payment you need a cash ticket.

Which trains run after the Saturday show?
Transperth says to take the short walk from the arena back to Perth Station or Perth Underground. For the Saturday show it lists these departures:
| Line | From | Departures |
|---|---|---|
| Yanchep | Perth Underground, Platform 1 | 10.47pm, 11.02pm, 11.17pm, 11.32pm |
| Mandurah | Perth Underground, Platform 2 | 10.47pm, 11.02pm, 11.17pm, 11.32pm |
| Fremantle | Perth Station, Platform 7 | 10.47pm, 11.02pm*, 11.17pm, 11.32pm* (*Perth to Claremont only) |
| Midland and Airport | Perth Station, Platform 8 | 11.00pm*, 11.10pm, 11.30pm*, 11.40pm (*Airport Line to Redcliffe, Airport Central and High Wycombe only) |

| Thornlie-Cockburn | Perth Station, Platform 5 | 10.56pm, 11.26pm, 11.56pm |
| Armadale | Perth Station, Platform 5 | 10.41pm, 11.11pm, 11.41pm, 12.11am |
Transperth adds that timetabled buses will operate across the network and that there will be no additional bus services at suburban stations to connect with the extra train services. If you plan to change to a bus at a suburban station after the show, check the bus timetable first.

What is happening on the Yanchep Line?
Transperth’s service update for the Yanchep Line says the line will be disrupted nightly from Sunday 25 October to Thursday 29 October for maintenance works.
| Night | Section disrupted |
|---|---|
| Sunday 25 October | Butler and Yanchep |
| Monday 26 and Tuesday 27 October | Joondalup and Yanchep |
| Wednesday 28 and Thursday 29 October | Clarkson and Yanchep |
The last full line services depart as follows:
- Sunday night: Perth Underground at 7.21pm and Yanchep Station at 7.50pm.
- Each weeknight: Perth Underground at 7.51pm and Yanchep Station at 8.28pm.
- Monday and Tuesday nights only: additional part line services to Clarkson Station leave Perth Underground at 8.06pm and 8.21pm.
Train replacement bus Route 904 runs while trains are cancelled, and full train services resume from the start of timetabled services each morning. Transperth says passengers should allow extra travelling time and that replacement buses may not connect with timetabled bus and train services. The replacement bus timetable is on the Transperth app and JourneyPlanner, and the app can track the bus in real time. Bicycles are not permitted on Transperth buses, including replacement services.
The Sunday disruption falls on the night of the second show. The Transperth event page for Saturday carries a warning about it. If you live on the Yanchep Line and are going to the Sunday show, plan your trip home before you leave, because the service update gives 7.21pm as the last full line departure from Perth Underground and the show is due to end at about 10:45pm.

Transperth also lists a Yanchep Line night closure between Whitfords and Yanchep on Thursday 19 November, and nightly closures between Perth and Whitfords from Monday 9 to Thursday 12 November, if you are planning later trips.
Can I park at RAC Arena?
The arena has its own car park, entered from Market Street or Milligan Street. The RAC Arena transportation and parking page and the event page give these details:

The arena also lists two electric vehicle charging bays near the Milligan Street entrance. For car park questions it gives the email pa.carpark@venueswest.wa.gov.au and the phone number (08) 6365 0759.

What can I bring in?
RAC Arena says bags larger than an A4 sheet of paper, including handbags and baby bags, are not allowed inside. Its conditions of entry also list items that are not permitted, including bags and backpacks larger than A4, cans and bottles of any material, eskies and hard-cased cooler bags, professional cameras with detachable or telephoto lenses, and external food and drink. Patrons may bring one sealed 600mL PET bottle of water each, except when a full decant policy is in place for an event. Large umbrellas such as golf umbrellas are also on the list.
The arena also says Evolv walkthrough scanners are in place at all entrances, and a manual security screening option is available on request. It asks you to allow plenty of time for arrival.
Are there other events at RAC Arena this week?
Transperth lists two Perth Wildcats home games at RAC Arena in the same week as the shows.
| Game | Date | Doors and start |
|---|---|---|
| Perth Wildcats v Melbourne United | Friday 23 October | Doors 5.30pm, game 6.30pm |
| Perth Wildcats v Sydney Kings | Wednesday 28 October | Doors 5.30pm, game 6.30pm |
For both games Transperth says your ticket includes travel on all Transperth services for three hours before, during and for three hours after the event, or until end of service, whichever occurs first. If you drive to one of its stations, parking is free on weekends and public holidays, and Transperth says you still pay for parking when the event is on a weekday. The Wednesday game falls on one of the Yanchep Line closure nights described above, so Yanchep Line passengers should check the last full line departure time of 7.51pm.
How do I plan the trip?
- Take a train into Perth Station or Perth Underground and walk to RAC Arena.
- Carry your event ticket, or use a SmartRider or contactless payment on Sunday.
- Check the Transperth JourneyPlanner for your own route and the last train you need after the show.
- If you drive, use the Market Street or Milligan Street entrance and pay by card.
- Pack a bag no bigger than an A4 sheet of paper.
