The Jimboomba Festival now runs over three days, Friday 11 to Sunday 13 December 2026, at Hills College Grounds in Jimboomba, and entry at the gate is $7 for an adult, $5 for a child above 3, and free for children 3 and under. It was first planned for 30 October to 1 November; the organisers moved it to December and say tickets already bought for the old dates will be honoured. Queensland has no daylight saving, so all times here are Brisbane time.
This guide is built from the festival’s own website and the council’s Our Logan event listing, both read on 29 October 2026, plus Translink’s stop page for the nearest bus stop. Where those sources disagree, the article says so rather than choosing one.
What are the dates and opening hours?
The organiser’s website gives these hours, and says rides, sideshow games, food and retail run for the whole time the gates are open:
| Day | Gates open (organiser) | Headline on the schedule |
|---|---|---|
| Friday 11 December | 4pm to 9pm | Live music, 5pm to 8pm |
| Saturday 12 December | 12pm to 9pm | Fireworks Spectacular, 8:30pm |
| Sunday 13 December | 12pm to 8pm | Live wrestling, 5pm to 7:30pm |
The council’s Our Logan listing for the same event shows different closing times on two days: Friday 4pm to 10pm and Sunday 12pm to 6pm. Saturday matches, 12pm to 9pm. The Sunday gap matters because the organiser lists the wrestling until 7:30pm, which is after the council’s 6pm close. The two pages differ, so plan around the organiser’s times (it runs the event) and check its page again closer to the date.

How much does it cost to get in?
The festival’s page lists these prices. Online prices are presale; gate prices are for one day.
| Ticket | Online | At the gate (1 day) |
|---|---|---|
| First release entry (limited) | $5 for 1 day, $10 for 3 days | Adult $7 |
| Child above 3 | Not listed separately | $5 |
| Child 3 and under | Free | Free |
| Family pass (2 adults + 2 children) | $20 for 1 day, $40 for 3 days (online only) | Not sold at the gate |
| Unlimited ride wristband | $25 for 1 day, $50 for 3 days | $45 |
| Single ride coupon | $5 | $8 |
One thing on the page does not line up. The ticket card lists the unlimited ride wristband at $25 for one day and $50 for three days, but the top of the page and the FAQ advertise an “exclusive online offer” of a 3-day unlimited ride wristband for $25. The page does not explain the difference. If rides are the main reason you are going, check the price at the checkout before you pay. Showbags and sideshow games are priced separately and the page says only that prices vary.
Online purchases are held at the gate under the name used to buy them, so the organiser says no printout is needed. Give your name at the entry and the team will check you in.
What is actually on?
The festival’s page lists the following, and adds “plus more to be announced”:
- Gourmet food and dessert trucks, trending eats, crowd favourites and a “Cheap Eats Alley”
- Carnival rides, including dodgems, a giant slide and inflatable playlands, with unlimited wristbands and single coupons
- Fireworks on Saturday at 8:30pm
- Live music on Friday, 5pm to 8pm, and “live sets across the whole weekend”
- Live pro wrestling on Sunday, “Feast and Fury” by Venom Pro Wrestling, 5pm to 7:30pm
- Movies under the stars every night (bring a rug)
- Showbags, sideshow games, lawn games, classic cars, roaming characters and face painting
- Free Santa photos all weekend
- Handmade and homegrown retailers and local makers
The page describes the festival as family friendly, with kids’ rides, jumping castles and face painting, and says it is for “prams, grandparents, mates”. It runs once a year over one weekend.

Where is it, and how do I get there?
The council lists the venue as Jimboomba Hills College, 105-111 Johanna Street, Jimboomba, QLD 4280. The organiser says Hills College is in the middle of Jimboomba and an easy drive from Logan, Beaudesert and Brisbane’s southside. That is all either source says about getting there.
Parking: neither the festival page nor the council listing says where to park, whether parking costs anything, or whether there is a shuttle. The organiser says details on ATMs and site facilities are “coming with the full event guide”. Until that guide is published, treat parking as unknown. This article will be updated if it appears.
Public transport: Translink’s nearest stop is “Johanna St at Hills International College, Jimboomba” (stop ID 315385). When it was checked at 5:02pm on Thursday 29 October, Translink said no services were departing within 90 minutes, and added that the stop may be set-down only. The route timetable pages that showed up for the stop (routes 6108, 6109, 6110 and 6141) list afternoon times between about 3:35pm and 3:59pm. No Saturday or Sunday service to the stop was seen, so do not plan to arrive by bus without checking Translink’s journey planner for the date, or calling Translink on 13 12 30, which answers 24 hours a day.

What happened to the October dates?
The festival was first announced for Hills College from 30 October to 1 November. The council’s Our Logan page and the festival’s website now carry the December dates, and the festival’s FAQ says: “Any tickets already bought for the original dates are still valid and will be honoured for the new December dates, there is nothing you need to do.” The organiser has called it “a huge Christmas weekend” and its page lists free Santa photos all weekend. The sources read for this guide do not give a reason for the move, so none is given here.
Who is running it, and can vendors still apply?
The festival’s website is on the streetfeast.au domain. The page has an open vendor section with site fees for three days or one day: $1,000 or $400 for a savoury food truck, trailer or gazebo, $900 or $350 for dessert, and $500 or $200 for coffee and drinks. The vendor contact on the page is management@streetfeast.au. Prices were listed as shown on 29 October 2026.

What should I check again before I go?
- The festival’s ticket and schedule page, for any change to opening hours, the wristband price, and the parking and facilities guide
- The council’s Our Logan listing, to see whether its Friday and Sunday closing times are corrected to match the organiser
- Translink’s journey planner for the date you want to travel, if you plan to use a bus
The festival site says it will publish a full event guide with more detail. This article will be updated with parking and facility information once that guide is out. A second check is planned for the week of the event.
