Which days is the rodeo on?

The Ipswich Show Society’s ticket page heads the event “Thursday 19th – Friday 20th November”, and its page title says 20 Nov 2026. The ticket list on the same page sells Friday and Saturday tickets, and Visit Ipswich’s November article gives 20 and 21 November. Friday 20 and Saturday 21 November are the days that match the ticket types, so this guide uses them. If you plan travel around the dates, contact the Ipswich Show Society through its website before you book.

Visit Ipswich describes two days of action, three rounds of competition for “championship glory”, cane toad racing, line dancing, and live bands and DJs into the night. The Show Society’s ticket page does not list any of those events or give their times.

A Companion Card holder accompanying a concession card holder enters free by presenting both cards at the ticket booth. The page does not mention a booking fee.

Can I park at the showgrounds?

The ticket page says Premium Carpark tickets are the only option for onsite parking. They are described as extremely limited, can only be bought online in advance, and cost $20 per car, per day, with separate passes for Friday and Saturday. Nothing on the page describes free or paid parking away from the showgrounds, a shuttle, or where the Premium Carpark sits, so those are not confirmed.

The Show Society’s page does not mention train travel. Check the Translink journey planner for the Ipswich line before you travel. The Show Society’s upcoming events page also lists the Enchanted Christmas Twilight on Friday 11 December and Bull-O-Rama on Friday 5 February 2027, with Bull-O-Rama tickets listed as not yet on sale.
