Two stores hold grand openings at Westfield Chermside next week, and Westfield has published a date for each. Luxury Escapes opens on Thursday 12 November 2026 from 9:30am, and By Charlotte opens its new boutique on Saturday 14 November 2026 from 9am. Both are on Level 1.

Luxury Escapes is a new store. By Charlotte is a relocation: Westfield lists it as “re-locating” and describes the opening as the grand opening of its new boutique, “its new home at Westfield Chermside”.
What happens at the Luxury Escapes opening on Thursday 12 November?
Westfield’s event page says Luxury Escapes is opening a new store where you can find in-person travel expertise and inspiration for your next holiday. The celebration starts from 9:30am on Thursday 12 November, on Level 1 opposite LEGO. Westfield describes Luxury Escapes as a global travel brand whose platform offers handpicked five-star resorts and tours, flights and curated experiences.
The page lists these opening-day extras:
- Spin the wheel in store for a chance to win a Luxury Escape, with prizes across Australia, Bali, Hawaii, Thailand and Vietnam
- Over 15 Luxury Escapes to win
- Up to $1,000 in Luxury Escapes vouchers

The page asks you to be among the first in store to join the spin. It does not say how many people can spin, whether the wheel runs all day, or what the terms of the prizes are. Westfield links to Luxury Escapes for more information. The store’s own page on Westfield still shows it as opening soon, and no regular trading hours are published yet.
What happens at the By Charlotte opening on Saturday 14 November?
By Charlotte sells jewellery, and Westfield’s announcement says the new boutique celebrates its grand opening on Saturday 14 November 2026 from 9am. Westfield lists these offers, with terms and conditions applying:

Westfield describes the collection as meaningful jewellery designed to inspire love and connection. The announcement does not say where the line forms, whether the tote bag is in addition to the gift card, or what the terms and conditions are beyond “see website for details”.
Where exactly is By Charlotte?
Westfield’s pages disagree. The By Charlotte announcement says the store is on Level 1, in the Western Mall near David Jones. The centre’s new stores page says Level 1, near Target. Westfield does not explain the difference. If you plan to line up early, ask the Chermside Concierge on 07 3117 5300 which entrance to use.
What are the centre’s trading hours around the openings?
Westfield Chermside’s opening-hours page showed the following on Thursday 5 November:

The Luxury Escapes event is listed from 9:30am to 5pm, which sits inside the centre’s long Thursday trading hours.
How do I get to Westfield Chermside, and where do I park?
The following is from Westfield’s parking and Getting Here pages as retrieved on Tuesday 27 October 2026. Westfield describes the centre as about 10 kilometres from the Brisbane CBD, with several access routes from Gympie Road and Hamilton Road. The car address is 395 Hamilton Road, Chermside.
Parking
The car park uses number plate recognition rather than paper tickets, and there is no boom gate at the entry. You get 2 hours free, or 4 hours free if you download the Westfield app and use the member benefit. The rates are:

The daily maximum and the overnight fee are both $36.00. Spend validation and cinema validation are not available at Westfield Chermside.
For Luxury Escapes, Westfield’s store page names the Nando’s car park, or the Purple Level 2 car park entered via Kittyhawk Drive. Its parking page lists the North car park via Kittyhawk Drive as the best option for Woolworths. Westfield does not name a car park for By Charlotte.
Bus, taxi and drop-off
A dedicated bus interchange for the centre is on Hamilton Road, with a go card top-up machine. Westfield lists routes 320, 322, 325, 330, 333, 334, 335, 336, 337, 338, 340, 353, 354, 370, 598, 599 and 680 as stopping at Chermside. Plan the trip on Translink and check the timetable for your day before you leave.
Westfield says the taxi rank is outside the SmartClinics and Nando’s entrances. Black & White Cabs is 13 32 22. For Uber, the best pick-up and drop-off point is at the Smart Clinics and Dan Murphy’s entrances, and these areas may have a loading bay with a time limit, so read the signs.
Which other stores have opened or are opening at Chermside?
Westfield’s new stores page, retitled “Haigh’s and other exciting new stores”, lists these on Thursday 5 November:
- Haigh’s Chocolates: now open on Level 1, near Woolworths. The page offers a Milk Midi Frog to the first 50 customers who make a purchase at Chermside or Carindale, and a free 200g packet of Milk Speckles for spending $75 or more from opening to Sunday 8 November. The page does not give the opening date.

- Cotton On Body: a new store, open on Level 1, near Kmart
- VRG GRL: listed as opening soon on Level 1, near Target, with no date
Westfield’s centre listings also show Santa’s arrival parade on 8 November, with no further details on the page we read.
