If you have a ticket to Robbie Williams at Adelaide Oval on Saturday 7 November 2026, you can ride Adelaide Metro buses, trains and trams for free all day, including the Adelaide Oval Express buses that run to the stadium before the show and for up to 60 minutes after it ends. Adelaide Metro published the details on 23 October 2026, and the stadium lists “Public Transport Included” among the things to know. Adelaide is on daylight saving in November (UTC+10:30), and every time below is local Adelaide time.
This guide is from the Adelaide Oval event page and the Adelaide Metro notice, both read again on 26 October 2026.
What time are the gates, and when does Robbie Williams start?
Adelaide Oval’s event page gives gates at 5:00pm and the event start at 6:30pm. Adelaide Metro also gives 6:30pm as the time the performance starts. The Oval’s general What’s On list showed a 6:00pm time for this date when we read it on 21 October, but the event page itself says 6:30pm, and that is the one to follow. G Flip and Lottery Winners are the support acts, and neither the stadium nor Adelaide Metro has published set times for them or for the headliner.
| What | Time (Saturday 7 November) |
|---|---|
| Free public transport begins | All day, with a valid concert ticket |
| Gates open | 5:00pm |
| Performance starts | 6:30pm |
| Bus stop closures begin | 10:15pm |
| Casino taxi rank closes | 10:30pm |
| Bus stop closures and Casino rank closure end | Midnight |

Is public transport really free, and what do I need?
Adelaide Metro says regular Adelaide Metro services and the Adelaide Oval Express services are free all day with a valid event ticket. Keep your Ticketek ticket available, because the stadium asks you to download it before you arrive. The notice does not describe how drivers or inspectors will check the ticket, so have it ready on your phone when you board. For anything else on fares, see our guide to Adelaide Metro fares and tap and pay.
Adelaide Metro adds that traffic will be heavier than usual around the Oval and asks travellers to allow extra time. Roads around the stadium will be closed for concert attendees to enter and exit safely, and Adelaide Metro asks you to be patient and follow the directions of police and traffic controllers. Live road conditions are on traffic.sa.gov.au.
Which buses go to Adelaide Oval?
Adelaide Metro runs Adelaide Oval (AO) and Adelaide Oval Express (AOX) services before the concert and up to 60 minutes after it. To find a timetable, use “Adelaide Oval” as your destination in the Adelaide Metro journey planner. Regular bus services also run before and after the concert. The notice lists these AO and AOX routes:

Adelaide Metro also links a bus interchange map and route descriptions for the AO and AOX services on its notice. Because AO22 is described as a Crows-game route, check the journey planner before you plan around it for the concert.

Which bus stops close after the concert?
Adelaide Metro says the regular bus stops around Adelaide Oval will be closed after the concert, with temporary stops nearby. From 10:15pm to midnight, these closures are in place, and passengers use the stop listed beside each one:
| Closed stop (10:15pm to midnight) | Use this stop instead |
|---|---|
| Stop 1 King William Road, east and west side | Stop 2 King William Road, north west and south east side |
| Stop 1 Sir Edwin Smith Avenue, north side only | Stop 2 Sir Edwin Smith Avenue, west side |
| Stops A2 and A3 King William Road | Stop B1 King William Street, east side |
| Stops Z1 and Z2 King William Road | Stop Y2 King William Street, west side |
Staff and event signage will point you to your service, so follow them rather than the usual stop signs.
What about trains and trams?
Regular train and tram services run before and after the concert. The notice does not announce extra trains or trams, so use the normal timetables. For trains, Adelaide Metro links the Belair, Gawler, Outer Harbor (with Port Dock and Grange), and Seaford and Flinders timetables.
On the tram network, the Festival tram line runs from Glenelg to Adelaide Oval and uses the Festival Plaza tram stop on King William Road, a short walk from the stadium. The Glenelg and Botanic tram lines arrive and leave from the Adelaide Railway Station tram stop on North Terrace. From there, Adelaide Metro says you can walk through the station and across the Riverbank Bridge to the Oval. Adelaide Oval’s own getting-here page, read on 18 October 2026, puts the Railway Station about 600m from the stadium and the Festival Plaza stop about 500m away. Check the digital display on the front of the tram before you board, so you do not travel in the wrong direction or board the wrong tram.

How do I get from the station to the Oval on foot?
Leave the Adelaide Railway Station, cross the Riverbank Bridge and you are at the stadium. Adelaide Metro describes the route as walking through the station and across the bridge. Leave a little longer than the 600m distance suggests, because roads around the Oval are closed for attendees to enter and exit, and Adelaide Metro asks you to follow police and traffic controllers.

Where are the taxi ranks and drop-off points?
Adelaide Metro lists temporary taxi ranks at four spots:
- King William Road, west side, south of Pennington Terrace (taxi rank only).
- Pennington Terrace, south side, east of the main car park entry (taxi and coach zone).
- Montefiore Road, east side, north of War Memorial Drive.
- War Memorial Drive, east of Montefiore Road, for patrons with wheelchairs and mobility aids.
The Casino taxi rank is closed from 10:30pm to midnight, with a temporary rank outside the Adelaide Convention Centre. Passenger loading zones are on the north side of Pennington Terrace, east of Montefiore Road (between Montefiore Road and Palmer Place, west side), and on the east side of Montefiore Road, 75 metres south of War Memorial Drive. If you are going home by taxi or ride share, Adelaide Metro advises choosing a pick-up spot away from the stadium to avoid delays.

Can I drive and park near Adelaide Oval?
Neither the Oval’s event page nor the Adelaide Metro notice gives parking details for this concert, and the stadium’s message is to use public transport, which is included in your ticket. Adelaide Oval’s general getting-here page says event-day parking is set for each event, so we have not listed any car park or price for 7 November. Our Adelaide Oval event-day guide explains the usual drop-off points and rules, and our guide to City of Adelaide car parks covers the council car parks in the city.
What can I bring in?
The Oval’s event page lists these rules for the night:
- Bags must be smaller than A3 (30 cm x 40 cm).
- The venue is cashless.
- Umbrellas are not permitted.
- Download your Ticketek tickets before arriving.
The page also lists an Event Safety Text Line; you will find the number on the event page.
What has not been confirmed?
As of 26 October 2026, set times for G Flip, Lottery Winners and Robbie Williams are not published. Parking arrangements for the concert are not published either. We will update this guide if either appears, and the stadium’s event page is the first place a change would show.
