If you are going to 5 Seconds of Summer at the Adelaide Entertainment Centre on Wednesday 4 November 2026, the show starts at 8:00pm and all doors open at 7:00pm. The on-site car park opens at 4pm and event parking costs $19 and the tram from the city centre to the Centre is free. Adelaide is on daylight saving in November (UTC+10:30), and every time below is local Adelaide time.
This guide is from the Centre’s own 5 Seconds of Summer event page and its Getting Here, Venue FAQs and Accessibility pages, read on 27 October 2026.
What time do doors open, and when does the show start?
The event page lists the 4 November show in the Arena with these times, and says the running times are approximate and may change:
| What | Time (Wednesday 4 November) |
|---|---|
| Box office and car park open | 4:00pm |
| All doors open | 7:00pm |
| Show starts | 8:00pm |
The Centre says set times for concerts come from the promoter or venue hirer and are put on the event page as soon as they are available. They are not there yet, and the event page names no support acts, so we cannot say when 5 Seconds of Summer take the stage. The Centre also notes that set times can change, so use them as a guide only. The Ticketek ticket office at the Orb entrance on Port Road opens two hours before the performance on event days.

Is there a free way to get there?
Yes. The Getting Here page says a free tram service runs daily between the Adelaide Entertainment Centre and the city centre, with frequent trams in peak travel periods. The Entertainment Centre Tram Stop is immediately in front of the Centre on Port Road. The Centre adds that extra tram services are often provided on event days, though it has not announced any for 4 November. Plan your journey with the Adelaide Metro journey planner and allow extra time for delays, as the Centre advises.
The other public transport options listed are these:
| Option | What the Centre says |
|---|---|
| Tram | Free service to and from the city centre; the stop is in front of the Centre on Port Road |
| Train | Bowden Railway Station is about 150 metres from the Centre, with easy pedestrian access |
| Bus | Stops are 50 to 80 metres away; buses 150 and 157 pass the Centre directly |
| Taxi | Ranks on both sides of Port Road near the main entry |
| Bicycle | Bicycle rails in front of the Centre; bring your own lock, and parking is at your own risk |

How much is parking, and which entrances do I use?
The Centre has more than 1,400 on-site car parking spaces, reached via Mary Street, Manton Street or Adam Street only. The event parking rate is $19 and the page says prices were correct as of 3 June 2026. The Centre accepts card only for every on-site charge, including parking, and the event page says all cards are accepted with no surcharges. After major events the Centre asks you to allow extra time to leave the car park.
The Centre’s Park ‘n’ Ride is a separate product. Its rate list is $5.50 for parking between 5am and 6pm, and $19 for overnight parking (6pm to 5am the next day) and for event parking.
Access to the Centre is through three entrances, so check your ticket for your designated entry. The Centre has a venue map with the entrances marked. For the Orb entrance and the ticket office, head to Port Road.

Where can I be dropped off or picked up?
The Centre has two designated zones on Port Road. Ride-share, chauffeur-driven and private vehicles use a drop-off zone on Port Road after the traffic lights when travelling west, in front of the Theatre; stopping there is for drop-off or pick-up only, for a maximum of 2 minutes. Taxis use a zone on Port Road before the traffic lights when travelling west, in front of the main entrance. The Centre warns that all areas around the venue may see significant congestion at peak event times and asks you to allow extra time. Patrons with reduced mobility can be dropped at the entrance closest to their ticketed door number by speaking to a team member at the gate.

What can I bring in?
The Centre’s Venue FAQs say bags must fit comfortably under your seat. Bags and backpacks larger than A3 (40cm x 30cm) are strictly prohibited, and the Centre has no bag storage. All bags, including those carrying medical equipment, are subject to inspection on arrival. A Cloak Room is next to Door 22 in the Arena Foyer, but the FAQs say it is not available for all events, so do not plan around it. Free earplugs are available there and from staff.
Video cameras, monopods, tripods, selfie sticks, audio recording devices and professional cameras (those with telephoto or zoom lenses) are not permitted. The Centre says some artists prefer a phone-free show and that details would be on the event page; this event page does not mention a phone ban. The Centre also notes that concerts can include flashing lights, lasers, strobe, confetti, haze and pyrotechnics. Smoking is not allowed in the venue. Food on sale includes baguettes, hot chips, wedges, pizza slices, burgers, hot dogs, pies, pasties and sausage rolls, and the range varies by event.
Which tickets are valid?
The event page warns that people who search for Adelaide Entertainment Centre tickets on Google could land on a resale site that looks official, and says only tickets bought from Ticketek are valid. For the quickest access to your tickets, the Centre recommends the Ticketek app. The event page also lists a VIP No.1 Obsession Package, and says its General Admission version is on the Arena floor and reached by stairs only, so it is not wheelchair accessible.
What accessibility support is there?
The Accessibility page lists accessible seating in the Arena, with seats for companions, and says the Centre is a Companion Card affiliate. Accessible seats are booked through Ticketek’s accessible ticket form or by phoning 1300 665 915. Event-day accessible parking must be pre-booked during business hours, Monday to Friday 8:30am to 5pm, on (08) 8208 2222, with your Disability Parking Permit number ready; standard parking rates still apply. Wheelchair access is available at all external Arena entries at ground level. A hearing augmentation system broadcasts on 88.3 FM for Arena events, so bring your own analogue FM receiver or headset.
The Centre runs a Sensory Space in the Star Courtyard, reached via the Orb entrance on Port Road, supported by trained staff from Novita and available at select events. Anyone under 18 must be with a responsible adult. The Centre’s team members are trained in the Hidden Disabilities Sunflower program, and a Sunflower lanyard is available from the Cloak Room or Sensory Space. First aid rooms are next to Doors 1 and 12 on the Foyer Level of the Arena, and a baby change room is in the Arena Foyer next to Door 22.

What has not been confirmed?
As of 27 October 2026, support acts and set times for 5 Seconds of Summer are not published, and the Centre has not announced extra tram services for the night. We will update this guide if the event page changes. For the venue’s general parking and Park ‘n’ Ride rules, see our Park ‘n’ Ride guide.
