The Monster Energy PBR Australia Grand Finals are on at the Townsville Entertainment and Convention Centre on Friday 13 and Saturday 14 November 2026, with the foyer and box office opening at 5:30pm, the arena at 6:30pm and the show starting at 7:30pm. Saturday is sold out, so Friday is the night to plan for. The centre has not published an event parking plan or a bag size limit, and its public transport advice is a single line.
The finals decide the Professional Bull Riders Australian title. Matt Merritt is the official entertainer on both nights, and country singer Lane Pittman plays Saturday night only. This guide was checked on Wednesday 28 October 2026 against the TECC, PBR Australia, City of Townsville and The Ville Resort-Casino pages, which do not all say the same thing in every detail.
Which night can I still get tickets for?
Friday. The TECC’s event page shows Saturday 14 November as sold out and lists Friday prices only. A one-off service fee of $4.25 per transaction applies on all purchases, and the prices include GST. Children aged 3 and under are free on the knee, with no seat.
| Friday 13 November | Price (as of 28 October 2026) |
|---|---|
| Diamond | $160 |
| Platinum | $140 |
| Gold | $85 |
| Silver | $70 |
| Bronze | $55 |
The City of Townsville’s What’s On listing still shows Saturday prices (Diamond $165 down to Bronze $55). That is the older listing and should not be read as availability, because The Ville’s page and the TECC’s own page both say Saturday is sold out.

What time do the doors open, and when does it finish?
The TECC and The Ville both give the same three times: foyer and box office 5:30pm, arena 6:30pm, show 7:30pm. PBR Australia’s official page adds the detail around them.
| Time | Friday 13 November | Saturday 14 November |
|---|---|---|
| 4:00pm to 7:00pm | Live music at the Quarterdeck | – |
| 5:00pm | – | Box office opens |
| 5:30pm | Foyer doors, merchandise, forecourt bar and food trucks open | Foyer doors, merchandise, forecourt bar and food trucks open; line dancing at the Splash Bar Lawns until 6:30pm |
| 6:30pm | Arena doors open | Arena doors open |
| 7:30pm | Night 1 starts, with a Welcome to Country | Night 2 starts, with Lane Pittman performing |
| After the show | Official after party at the Quarterdeck from 9:30pm | Official after party at The Pavilion from 10:00pm |
The City of Townsville’s listing gives the time as 7:30pm to 11:30pm. PBR Australia and the TECC give no finish time, so treat 11:30pm as the council’s listing and not a promise. Anyone relying on a last bus, a babysitter or a rideshare should wait for a finish time from the organisers.
Where can I park near the centre?
There is no event car park to book. The TECC’s parking and transport page says public car park spaces are available around the centre, including The Ville Resort-Casino, the Coast Guard car park, Enterprise House, along the Strand and Anzac Park. It gives no prices, no capacity and no distances, and it does not say which of them will be open or full on a Grand Finals night.

The venue has not published a recommended arrival time. The marked accessible bays in the photo are covered under accessibility below.
How do I get there without a car?
The TECC lists Sunbus Townsville, Townsville Taxis, rideshare and e-scooter services as the ways to reach the centre. It does not name a route or a stop. Translink’s event transport list had no page for the PBR Grand Finals when it was checked on 28 October 2026, unlike the pages it publishes for events at Queensland Country Bank Stadium. That could change closer to the date, so check the list again in the week of the event.

What can I not bring in?
The TECC’s conditions of entry list what to leave at home. They apply to every event at the centre, and the venue says an entertainer’s own requests are posted on signs at the auditorium doors on the day.
- Alcohol or food that was not bought on site.
- Animals other than service animals.
- Anything that could be used as a weapon.
- Audio recorders, video cameras, professional cameras with interchangeable lenses, selfie sticks and tablets.
- Helium balloons and glass items.
- Musical instruments and amplification equipment.
- Unauthorised advertising materials or flyers.
- Laser pointers, distress signals, whistles, loud hailers and dangerous goods.
Prams and strollers are not allowed in the seating areas and can be left at the Administration Office; ask the box office staff. The centre is non-smoking, with smoking only in the designated outdoor areas at the front of the building, and on-the-spot fines can apply elsewhere. Alcohol bought on site can be drunk inside the centre and in the forecourt at the entrance, and cannot leave the building.
A PBR Australia Facebook post says bags will be checked on entry and that the event is fully licensed with a bar and food options. Neither the TECC nor PBR Australia gives a bag size limit or says whether an empty water bottle is allowed.
What if I need accessible parking or seating?
The TECC says there are three designated accessible parking spaces in front of the centre and 11 along Entertainment Drive, and that a valid permit must be displayed. Concrete paths lead to the main entrance from both car parks. A set-down area with a kerb ramp is 20 metres from the entrance.
Entry is through the Queensland Foyer, up a ramp with a gradient between 1:14 and 1:20. Ramp access to the auditorium is through doors one and five, where ticket collectors give further directions. The floors are low pile carpet and concrete, the stairs have handrails and all changes in level have ramps. Accessible toilets are in the Queensland Foyer, and the TECC notes they sit slightly high at 490mm. The City of Townsville’s listing also records wheelchair seating and service animals welcome. Accessible parking arrangements for the finals weekend are not published separately; the box office on (07) 4722 2333 or tecc.enquiry@the-ville.com.au can answer.

Is there anywhere to go before or after?
PBR Australia lists The Ville Resort-Casino as the official after party venue, with free entry on both nights. On Friday, live music runs at the Quarterdeck from 4:00pm to 7:00pm and the after party starts at 9:30pm with DJs Willie Pake and Easy Club. On Saturday, Tropical Boots run line dancing with DJ Y.O.G.A. on the Splash Bar Lawns from 5:30pm to 6:30pm, and The Barnyard Band plays at The Pavilion from 10:00pm. The Ville’s address is Sir Leslie Thiess Drive, and its car park is one of those the TECC names.
A VIP on the Dirt experience, held on the arena dirt on Saturday from 5:30pm to 6:15pm, is sold out. PBR Australia warns that access may be difficult for people with limited mobility.

What is still not confirmed?
- A finish time for either night (the council’s listing says 11:30pm).
- A Translink page, an event shuttle or Sunbus route advice for the finals.
- A bag size limit and a water bottle rule.
- Which public car parks will be open or full.
One date detail to ignore: the council’s listing puts the VIP add-on on “Saturday 13th November”, while 13 November 2026 is a Friday and PBR Australia places the add-on on Saturday 14 November.
