Westfield Burwood lists five new stores, two new Playworld play areas and two relocated stores on its new and upcoming stores page. Only the two play areas are marked as open now; for the five stores Westfield gives no opening dates. Everything on this page is as of Wednesday 28 October 2026.
The centre is at 100 Burwood Road, Burwood, New South Wales 2134. Parking is free for the first two hours, or three hours for Westfield members, and Westfield describes the train station as a short walk down Burwood Road.
Which new stores is Westfield Burwood listing?

Westfield gives a level and a neighbouring store for each, so you can find them once you are inside:
| Store | What it offers | Where in the centre |
|---|---|---|
| Forever New | A global women’s fashion brand | Level 2, near the Food Court |
| LukFook | Jewellery from a Hong Kong brand whose first shop opened in 1991 | Level 2, near MECCA |
| Lion’s Den Collectibles | Rare pop culture items, trading cards and memorabilia | Level 3, near Aldi |
| Palermo Perfumes | Perfumes made in Australia with French perfume essence, in Eau De Parfum strength | Level 1, near Boost Juice |
| Yatai Express | Asian dishes to eat on the go | Level 1, near Coles |
Westfield’s page does not say whether these five have opened, and it gives no dates. Lion’s Den Collectibles is described on the page as having “a new store”. If you are making a special trip for one store, ring the Concierge on (02) 8746 3900 first.
Where are the new play areas?

Westfield lists two Playworld areas, and says both are now open on Level 3:
| Play area | For | Where |
|---|---|---|
| Kids play area | Children aged 3 and older | Level 3, near Woolworths |
| Dedicated play space | Children aged 3 and under | Level 3, near Kmart |
The page says the first area is for children aged 3 and older and the second is a dedicated space for children aged 3 and under. It does not give a price, session times or rules, so check with the Concierge on (02) 8746 3900 before you go with a group. The Concierge is on Level 1, opposite David Jones, and on Wednesday 28 October its listed hours were 9:30am to 6pm.
Which stores have moved?
Westfield lists two relocations within the centre. Alchemy of Hair is now on Level 3 near Kmart, and the Australia Post store is now on Level 3, opposite Kmart. Both are close to the new play space for the youngest children, which Westfield also places near Kmart.

How much does parking cost at Westfield Burwood?

Non-members get two hours free, and Westfield members get three. The car parks use licence plate recognition number plates, so there is no boom gate at entry and no paper ticket. Members add their number plate in the Westfield app and, for stays longer than three hours, can pay there or at a pay station. Non-members whose visit runs past two hours pay at a pay station by entering their number plate. The rates are the same every day of the week:
| Time parked | Non-member | Westfield member |
|---|---|---|
| Up to 2 hours | Free | Free |
| 2 to 2.5 hours | $6.00 | Free |
| 2.5 to 3 hours | $8.00 | Free |
| 3 to 3.5 hours | $10.00 | $8.00 |
| 3.5 to 4 hours | $15.00 | $10.00 |
| 4 to 4.5 hours | $20.00 | $15.00 |
| 4.5 to 5 hours | $25.00 | $20.00 |
| 5 to 5.5 hours | $35.00 | $25.00 |
| 5.5 to 6 hours | $45.00 | $30.00 |
| 6 to 6.5 hours | $50.00 | $35.00 |
| 6.5 hours or more | $50.00 | $40.00 |
The maximum daily rate is $50 for non-members and $40 for members, and the overnight fee for non-members is $50. Westfield says members get free parking if they enter after 6pm and exit before 12am. To restart the free-parking allowance you must leave the car park for at least 45 minutes and come back.
There is also an early bird rate: $12 if you enter before 9:30am and leave after 4:30pm, on the P1 Purple lower ground level only. It applies Monday to Friday, not on Saturdays, Sundays, public holidays or during December.
Which car park entrance is closest to the store I want?
The main entrances are on Wilga Street and Victoria Street. Westfield’s parking page sorts the car parks by what is near them:
| Car park | Entrance | Nearest stores |
|---|---|---|
| P1 Purple (basement) | Wilga Street | Coles, David Jones, Event Cinemas |
| P2 Blue (lower ground) | Wilga Street | Coles, David Jones, Event Cinemas |
| P3 Yellow (upper level) | Victoria Street | Woolworths, Kmart, Target |
| P4 Green (upper level) | Victoria Street | Woolworths, Kmart, Target |
Westfield does not say which car park suits each new store, so work from the neighbours in the first table. Yatai Express and Palermo Perfumes on Level 1 are near Coles and Boost Juice, and the two Level 3 play areas are near Woolworths and Kmart. Westfield lists P1 Purple or P2 Blue as the best car parks for Coles, and P3 Yellow or P4 Green, using the doors closest to Burwood Road, for Woolworths. Pram parking is in P1 Purple and P2 Blue, near the Coles entry escalators, and bike stands are in P1 Purple, next to the Oliver Brown entrance.
How do I get to Westfield Burwood by train or bus?

Westfield describes the centre as just a short walk down Burwood Road if you take the train. It gives no walking time, so check your trip in the Transport for NSW trip planner, and check Sydney Trains for trackwork before you leave. Three bus stops are nearby, on Burwood Road, Victoria Road and Shaftesbury Road. The Victoria Road stop is listed as temporarily closed, and the Shaftesbury Road stop is reached through Level 1 near Target.
The taxi rank on Victoria Street is also listed as temporarily closed. Westfield says the best pick-up and drop-off point for rideshares is on Victoria Street. For fares, see our guide to Opal fares and how to pay. If you drive, the centre says it is close to the M4 Motorway, Parramatta Road and the Hume Highway.
