On Saturday 7 November 2026, Hornsby has two events on the same day: Santa’s parade starts at Westfield Hornsby at 11:00am, and the council’s free Hornsby Spring Fest runs on Dural Lane from 3:00pm to 9:00pm. All times are Sydney time (AEDT).

This guide uses only the Hornsby Shire Council’s Spring Fest page and news item and Westfield Hornsby’s parade and parking pages, all read in the first days of November 2026. Where those pages say nothing, this guide says so.

What happens at Santa’s parade?

Westfield’s Santa’s Arrival page says the parade starts at 11:00am on Level 1 near Priceline. Santa and his helpers then go through Level 1, Level 2 and Level 3 and finish at the Santa Photography Set. The page lists the event as 11.00am to 12.00pm on Saturday 7 November.

The centre says there are activities for the whole family until 2pm, including kids’ face painting and roving live entertainment. It also warns that the parade will be noisy and that, although noise control has been considered, the event may not be suitable for everyone.

Photos with Santa are booked through the centre. The page lists a range of options, including Sensitive Santa and pet photography, and links to a booking page.

What is at Hornsby Spring Fest?

The council’s Spring Fest page says Dural Lane will have music, roving entertainment, market stalls, international food trucks, kids’ activities and a licensed bar from 3pm to 9pm on Saturday 7 November. Entry is free. The council lists the event under Major events, and its news item of 15 September 2026 says the festival will transform Dural Lane and the car park.

The page has Food and Entertainment galleries. The names in those galleries include Greg Page: Denver to Diamond, 343 Brass Band, Lucky Lartey, Gang of Brothers, TokyoTaco, Birdman, Skewiies, Emmy’s Turkish Gozleme, Mr Kernal, Satay Brothers, Gelato Fruitmania, Fritzs Wieners, Rolling Schnitzel, Mrs Wangs dumplings, Piggy and Moo, The Pharaoh BBQ, Cool Delights and Kubarz. The page does not say who plays when or which names are stalls and which are performers, so this guide does not sort them.

Can I do both in one day?

The times do not overlap. The parade page lists 12:00pm as the end, Westfield’s activities run until 2pm, and Spring Fest opens at 3pm.

The council’s mayor, Warren Waddell, says in the news item that he encourages visitors to explore the restaurants, cafes and eateries in the town centre, including along Peats Ferry Road, Coronation Street and Station Street.

Where do I park?

The council has not published parking or road-closure information for Spring Fest. Its news item says the festival uses Dural Lane and the car park.

Westfield Hornsby has its own published rules, from its parking page. The car park has no boom gate at entry and reads number plates. Non-members get 3 hours free. If you leave and come back on the same day, there must be 45 minutes between exit and re-entry to get another free period. Westfield members who add their number plate in the app get 4 hours free. The rate tables say entry after 6pm is free if you exit before 12am, while the page FAQ says free parking from 6pm to 12am is for Westfield members only. The early bird rate does not apply on Saturdays, Sundays or public holidays.

Are there train or bus changes?

None of the council or Westfield pages read for this guide mention train, bus or road changes for 7 November. This guide has no official timetable for the day.

Who do I ask if something is wrong?

For the parade, photos and parking, the Westfield Hornsby concierge number on the centre’s pages is (02) 9477 5111. For Spring Fest, the council’s page lists Hornsby Shire Council as the contact and its news item points to the council’s website and Facebook page for updates before the festival.
