Eat Drink Nights Bankstown is a free monthly night food market at Paul Keating Park, held on the second Saturday of the month from 5pm to 9pm. The two dates left in 2026 are Saturday 14 November and Saturday 12 December. The Canterbury Bankstown tourism site says to expect more than 40 food and drink stalls, and the council lists live music and family activities. It is a short walk from Bankstown Station.

This guide is based on the City of Canterbury Bankstown’s event page and the Where Interesting Happens tourism site, both read on Tuesday 3 November 2026. It says plainly what has not been published. All times are Sydney time (daylight saving).

When is Eat Drink Nights Bankstown held?

The council says the market is held on the second Saturday of each month, from 5pm to 9pm, and describes it as a new monthly International Food Market that launched on Saturday 11 April. It lists four dates for the rest of 2026.

Date Time Status
Saturday 12 September 2026 5pm to 9pm Past
Saturday 10 October 2026 5pm to 9pm Past
Saturday 14 November 2026 5pm to 9pm Next
Saturday 12 December 2026 5pm to 9pm Last of the year listed

The tourism site lists the same next dates, 14 November and 12 December. The council has not published dates for 2027, so this guide does not say whether the market will continue after December.

What will I find at the market?

The tourism site says there are more than 40 food and drink stalls, with burgers, wagyu, Malaysian satay, Japanese food, Indonesian street food, pizza, pasta and Colombian arepas. For dessert it lists gourmet cookies, cupcakes, pancakes, crepes, ice cream, banana pudding, rocky road and loaded churros, plus bubble tea, mocktails and matcha. It says people can sit under red and white umbrellas in an outdoor seating area.

The site names a handful of stalls to look out for:

  • Pound for Pound Burger
  • AMI Pizza
  • Jom Malaysian Street Food
  • Japanese Soul Table
  • Roberto’s Pasta and Gnocchi
  • Colombian Arepas
  • Dippin’ Dots Ice Cream
  • Qwenched Australia

Those names come from the tourism site’s page, and neither the council nor the organiser has published a stall list for 14 November. Stalls at monthly markets can change from one date to the next, so treat the list as an example of what has been there, not a promise.

The council adds live music and family fun, including a puppet show and giant bubbles for children. It does not name the musicians or give times for the puppet show, so if you are going for a specific act, check the council page nearer the day.

Is it free, and what will I spend?

Entry is free, according to both the council’s event page and the tourism site. The council lists the cost as “FREE”. That covers getting in, not the food. Neither source gives stall prices, so this guide does not quote any. Neither source says which payment methods the stalls take.

The council page gives a Cambridge Markets email address as the contact. The Australian Turf Club says the same company supplies the street food stalls at Kia Friday Night Racing at Canterbury Park. If you are planning a weekend of free food events, our guide to Friday Night Racing at Canterbury Park covers the opening night on Friday 13 November, the evening before this market.

How do I get to Paul Keating Park?

The council gives the address as Paul Keating Park, 69 The Mall, Bankstown 2200. The tourism site tells visitors to plan their trip at transportnsw.info. The nearest station is Bankstown, which we calculate is about 260 metres in a straight line from the park, using OpenStreetMap positions. That is our own figure, not an official one, and the walking route will be a little longer.

Bankstown Station is served by both the new Southwest Metro, which began carrying passengers at 4:31am on Friday 30 October 2026, and the T6 Lidcombe & Bankstown line, according to Sydney Metro’s description of the Bankstown precinct. The Metro station is at the southern end of the precinct, and a second Sydney Trains entrance gives direct access to the T6 line. If you are coming from Punchbowl, Wiley Park, Lakemba, Belmore, Campsie or Canterbury, the Metro line runs to Bankstown without a change of train. Use the trip planner for evening timetables, since this guide has not checked them.

Is there parking, and is it accessible?

Neither the council nor the tourism site says anything about parking or road closures for the market. This guide has no official information on which car parks are open or free.

The tourism site lists the event as wheelchair accessible, and the council tags it “Access Friendly”. Neither gives details such as accessible toilets or the location of accessible parking.

What else is on in Bankstown that weekend?

The tourism site lists Bankstown Markets, a weekly market on every Sunday from 8am to 2pm at Bankstown City Paceway on Eldridge Road, Condell Park. It says the market was established in 1966 and sells fresh produce, second-hand goods, tools, plants, toys and multicultural food. That means a Saturday night at Paul Keating Park can be followed by a Sunday morning at the Paceway on 15 November; the two are separate events in different places.

The tourism site also lists a performance called Azimuth at the Bankstown Arts Centre on Friday 6 November at 7:30pm. That is a week before the market, so it does not clash, and it is a different kind of night out: live music, electronic production and spoken word by artists from diaspora and First Nations backgrounds.

What is still not confirmed?

  • Stall prices and the payment methods the stalls take

  • What happens if it rains, and whether the market continues in 2027

This guide will be updated if the council or the organiser publishes these details. The council lists the organiser’s email as info@cambridgemarkets.com.au for questions.
