The City of Stirling’s Christmas lights will be on every evening from Friday 27 November to Sunday 27 December 2026, from 7pm to 10pm, and entry is free. The City’s central hub is the Administration Centre forecourt at 25 Cedric Street, Stirling, and it has more displays in five other places across the City. Times here are Perth time (AWST, UTC+8); Western Australia does not use daylight saving.
This guide is based on the City of Stirling’s Christmas in the City page, its event listings and its lights map, all read on Saturday 31 October 2026. We have not seen the displays, and the City’s pages describe them only in short lines, so we say so where details are missing.
When are the Stirling Christmas lights on?
The City says Stirling Christmas Lights run every evening from Friday 27 November to Sunday 27 December 2026, with lights on from 7pm to 10pm. Its event listing gives the same dates and times, lists the cost as free and describes it as a family event.

The City’s page says each night “from sunset” the Administration Centre forecourt becomes a glowing and golden wonderland of festive lights. Its event listing gives the lights-on window as 7pm to 10pm. If you want a specific hour, plan around the listed 7pm to 10pm window rather than sunset.
Where are the six Christmas lights sites?
The City names six places and publishes a numbered map. We read the map’s numbers by eye, and they match the names below. The addresses are the City’s.
| Map pin | Place | Address given by the City | What the City says is there |
|---|---|---|---|
| 6 | Stirling (central hub) | City of Stirling Administration Centre forecourt, 25 Cedric Street, Stirling | Glowing and golden festive lights, this year’s central hub |
| 1 | Inglewood | Inglewood Community Hub, 895 Beaufort Street, Inglewood | A Gingerbread House |
| 2 | Mirrabooka | Mirrabooka Town Square, Sudbury Road, Mirrabooka | Stars in the trees |
| 3 | Mount Lawley | Beaufort Street, corner of Walcott Street, Mount Lawley | Festive street motifs along Beaufort Street |
| 4 | Osborne Park | Osborne Community Hub, 11 Royal Street, Osborne Park | A Santa Hat House |
| 5 | Scarborough | Scarborough Beach Precinct, The Esplanade, Scarborough | A photo opportunity with “the wave” |
The City calls the displays “magical installations all across the City” and says the fun continues throughout the suburbs. It does not say whether the 7pm to 10pm hours apply identically at all six sites, because its listing gives one time window for the whole campaign. Check the City’s event page before you plan a late trip.

Is there a carols event with the lights?
The City’s Christmas page lists the Inglewood Christmas Carols as a Christmas event. Stirling Libraries at Inglewood is running it from 4pm to 8pm on Friday 4 December 2026, and it is free. According to the event listing, it is at Stirling Libraries, Inglewood, 895 Beaufort Street, Inglewood WA 6052, and it is wheelchair accessible. Families are asked to bring a picnic blanket and settle on the grass at Inglewood Town Square for carols and festive cheer. The library’s contact is (08) 9205 7700 or getinvolved@stirling.wa.gov.au.
The same page also lists The Polar Express at Karrinyup, a separate event run by Karrinyup Shopping Centre. See our Polar Express guide for its dates, times and booking details.

How do I get there and where do I park?
The City’s Christmas page gives the addresses above but no parking or public transport advice for the lights. The Administration Centre’s address is 25 Cedric Street, Stirling, and the City lists its opening hours as 8:30am to 5pm Monday to Friday, which are office hours rather than lights hours. For bus and train options, use the Transperth journey planner with the addresses in the table. We have not confirmed parking at any of the six sites, so follow local signage on the night.

What else does the City’s Christmas page say?
Besides the lights, the same page carries these dates for the festive period. They are the City’s and are as of October 2026.
