The 129th Queanbeyan Show runs on Saturday 7 and Sunday 8 November 2026 at the Queanbeyan Showgrounds on Glebe Avenue. Adult entry is $19.00. Children aged 7 to 17 pay $11.00, children aged 6 and under are free, and a family bundle of two adults and two children aged 7 to 17 costs $54.00, according to the show’s ticketing page on 123Tix.
This guide uses the Queanbeyan Show website and its 123Tix ticket page, both read on 26 October 2026. The organisers say the schedule is subject to change, so confirm on the day.
How much is a ticket, and can I still buy one?
| Ticket | Price (includes fees) |
|---|---|
| Adult | $19.00 |
| Child (7 to 17) | $11.00 |
| Child (6 and under) | Free |
| Family Bundle (2 adults + 2 children aged 7 to 17) | $54.00 |
The ticket page says the prices shown include all fees and nothing extra is added at checkout. It also asks whether you need a carer ticket, and lets you give carer documentation on the next step if you are eligible.
The show is trialling digital ticketing this year. The organisers say only a limited number of tickets per day are sold online, to avoid bottlenecks at the gate, and that if you miss out online, tickets are still available at the gate with cash or EFTPOS. When we checked on 26 October, the 123Tix page showed an “Event Capacity Reached” notice and waitlist forms for each ticket type. The same page also listed ticket counts that did not match that notice (for example 1,952 Adult tickets remaining per day), so we cannot say whether online tickets are sold out. Check the page again before you go, and expect to be able to buy at the gate with cash or EFTPOS.
Two ticket rules to know before you arrive:
- No pass-outs. Tickets are for single admission. If you leave the Showground, you need a new ticket to come back in.
- No refunds for change of mind or weather. The terms say tickets are non-refundable for illness, travel difficulties or weather. The show is outdoors and may continue in rain, wind, heat or cold where organisers consider it safe.

What time does it open, and what is on?
The ticket page lists Saturday 7 November from 9am to 9pm and Sunday 8 November from 9am to 5pm. The organisers’ description of this year’s show lists:
- Cookie Monster and Elmo from Sesame Street.
- The FX Freestyle Kings, appearing for the first time, with motocross stunts.
- Live music, classic show rides, showbags and the arts and crafts pavilion.
- The DockDogs National Titles and the K9 SuperWall.
- Dinkum Dinosaurs, a children’s show with ventriloquist comedy and animatronic dinosaurs, presented by Queanbeyan City Travel and Cruise.
- A new busking competition, with several stages around the grounds. Visitors vote for their favourites, and the highest-voted acts go to a final in the Main Arena. The winner gets $1,000.
The website’s own event schedule page does not list times for most of these. Only the DockDogs, K9 SuperWall and horse sections have published times so far, set out below.
What time is the DockDogs and K9 SuperWall?
The 2026 National Titles for DockDogs Australia are held at the Queanbeyan Show, in the Langes Auto Centre Super Dog Arena. The show’s DockDogs page lists a schedule that starts on Friday 6 November, the day before the gates open to ticket holders on the ticket page. The ticket page lists only Saturday and Sunday, so we cannot say from these pages whether the public can watch on Friday.
| Day | Time | What |
|---|---|---|
| Friday 6 November | 10:00, 12:00, 14:00, 16:00 | Big Air 1 to 4 |
| Friday 6 November | 18:00 | Extreme Vertical finals |
| Saturday 7 November | 09:00 | Novelty dog events (dog pageant show: Best Duo, Celebrity Lookalike, Best Dog Act, Ugliest Dog, Prettiest Dog) |
| Saturday 7 November | 10:00, 12:00, 14:00 | Big Air 5 to 7 |

| Sunday 8 November | 14:00 | Big Air Finals |
| Sunday 8 November | 14:30 | Awards presentation |
The DockDogs page says the sport has four disciplines: Big Air (the long jump of canine aquatics), Extreme Vertical (the high jump), Speed Retrieve (a timed run, jump, swim and retrieve) and Dueling Dogs (side-by-side head-to-head). The K9 SuperWall is a dog high-jump competition hosted by Farmer Dave.

When are the horse events?
The Horses page lists start times for each ring. Rings can run at the same time, so check the full program on the day.

The show’s cattle page still carries dates from 2025 (Saturday 8 and Sunday 9 November), which do not match this year’s weekend, so we have not used those dates. It does say judging starts at 9am and that beef cattle entries for 2026 close on Sunday 1 November.

What is cancelled or changed this year?
- Poultry Show: cancelled for 2026 because of ongoing biosecurity concerns, according to the competitions page.
- Young Woman Competition: the show’s page says Queanbeyan will not run one in 2026, and entries are for Bungendore only.
- Trade space: applications have closed.
How do I get there, and where do I park?
The Showgrounds are at Glebe Avenue, Queanbeyan NSW 2620. The show’s website does not publish parking, shuttle or road-closure details, and neither does the Queanbeyan-Palerang Regional Council’s events page as of 26 October. We have therefore not listed any car parks or bus services for the show. Check the show’s Facebook page or email hello@queanbeyanshow.com.au before the weekend.
Photographs of the grounds on Wikimedia Commons show gates on Lowe Street and Monaro Street, and the cattle page tells exhibitors to enter via Cooma Street. Those are not visitor instructions, so follow signs and staff directions on the day.

What can I bring in?
The ticket terms say weapons, illegal substances and dangerous items are not allowed, and that additional limits on alcohol, glass and drones may apply. Bags can be inspected for safety and security. Children must be supervised by a parent, guardian or responsible adult. Do not enter animal pens, competition areas or restricted areas, and do not touch or feed animals unless the handler allows it. Photography and filming may take place across the show and may be used for the show’s publicity.
What if it rains?
The terms say the show may continue in poor weather where organisers consider it safe and practical. Individual attractions can be changed, moved or cancelled without the whole show being cancelled. For the latest, check the show’s website and social pages on the morning.

Who do I contact?
General enquiries go to hello@queanbeyanshow.com.au. The show lists separate addresses for competitions (competitions@queanbeyanshow.com.au), the pavilion (pavilion@queanbeyanshow.com.au) and trade space (trades@queanbeyanshow.com.au). The pavilion page also has a downloadable pavilion schedule and entry form. We have not found a public phone number for the show.
