If you are going to Khalid at RAC Arena on Wednesday 18 November, the train is the plan Transperth builds its event page around: your ticket includes travel on all Transperth services for three hours before, during and three hours after the show, and Perth Station and Perth Underground are a short walk from the arena. If you live on the Airport Line, read the closure section first. The line is disrupted between Bayswater and High Wycombe that night, and the last full-line train leaves Perth at 7.46pm, which is after the 7:30pm start time on Transperth’s event page.
This guide uses RAC Arena’s event and parking pages and Transperth’s event and service update pages, checked on Thursday 5 November 2026. Perth uses Australian Western Standard Time (UTC+8), with no daylight saving, so all times here are Perth times.
What time do the doors open and when does Khalid start?
| What | Time |
|---|---|
| Doors open | 6:30pm (Transperth’s event page) |
| Show starts | 7:30pm (Transperth’s event page) |
| Timings on RAC Arena’s own page | Not yet confirmed; the arena says to check back closer to the date |
The Transperth page for the show gives doors at 6:30pm and a show start of 7:30pm. The RAC Arena event page says the time is to be confirmed, so treat the Transperth times as the current ones until the arena confirms them. The arena describes the night as part of Khalid’s It’s Always Summer Somewhere Tour, his first arena shows in Australia since 2019, and lists it as all ages. Tickets are sold through Ticketek, online, on 13 28 49 or at a Ticketek agency, and the arena says tickets start to be delivered closer to the event date. Neither page gives a support act or an end time, so plan your trip home from the train times below.

Is public transport included with my ticket?
Yes. Transperth says your ticket includes travel on all Transperth services for three hours before, during and for three hours after the event, and that you show your ticket to the driver or inspector. RAC Arena’s transportation page says the same for tickets that carry the Transperth logo.
- You must have your event ticket with you to travel at no extra cost.
- If you plan to collect your ticket at the venue, Transperth says you will need to pay a normal fare to get there.
- Wednesday is a weekday, so Transperth says you still pay for parking at its train stations: $2 a day, or any part of a day, between 5am and 9pm on weekdays. Our Park ‘n’ Ride guide covers the rules.

What is happening on the Airport Line?
Transperth’s service update says the Airport Line will be disrupted between Bayswater and High Wycombe on Tuesday 17 and Wednesday 18 November for maintenance works.
| Direction | Last full-line train |
|---|---|
| Perth to High Wycombe | 7.46pm |
| High Wycombe to Perth | 8.18pm |
For this show that means:
- The last full-line train from Perth leaves at 7.46pm, after doors open at 6:30pm and after the 7:30pm start time on Transperth’s event page. Leave early enough to be inside, or take the train earlier and use the replacement bus.
- Train replacement bus Route 902 runs between Bayswater and High Wycombe stations while trains are cancelled. Transperth says passengers should allow extra travelling time and that replacement buses may not connect with timetabled bus and train services.
- The replacement bus timetable will be available in the Transperth app and JourneyPlanner, and the app can track the bus in real time. The service update does not publish it.
- Bicycles are not permitted on Transperth buses, including replacement services.
- Full train services resume from the start of timetabled services each morning.
Transperth’s event page repeats the warning and lists the Midland and Airport departures after the show, with a note that some run only as far as Bayswater, as shown in the table below. If you live on the Airport Line, check the Route 902 timetable in the app before you leave home.

Which trains run after the show?
Transperth says to walk back from the arena to Perth Station or Perth Underground. For this show it lists these departures:
| Line | From | Departures |
|---|---|---|
| Yanchep | Perth Underground, Platform 1 | 10.32pm, 10.47pm, 11.02pm, 11.17pm |
| Mandurah | Perth Underground, Platform 2 | 10.32pm, 10.47pm, 11.02pm, 11.17pm |
| Fremantle | Perth Station, Platform 7 | 10.32pm*, 10.47pm, 11.02pm*, 11.17pm (*Perth to Claremont Station only) |
| Midland and Airport | Perth Station, Platform 8 | 10.30pm*, 10.40pm, 11.00pm*, 11.10pm (*Perth to Bayswater Station only) |
| Ellenbrook | Perth Station, Platform 9 | 10.50pm, 11.20pm, 11.50pm |
| Thornlie-Cockburn | Perth Station, Platform 5 | 10.56pm, 11.26pm, 11.56pm |
| Armadale | Perth Station, Platform 5 | 10.41pm, 11.11pm, 11.41pm, 12.11am |
Transperth adds that timetabled buses will operate across the network, and that there will be no additional bus services at suburban stations to connect with the extra train services. If your trip home includes a bus from a suburban station, check that bus timetable before you go, and look at the Service Updates page for route disruptions on the night. Transperth’s InfoLine is 13 62 13.

What can I bring in?
RAC Arena says bags larger than A4 size, including handbags and baby bags, are not allowed inside. Its conditions of entry also list cans, bottles and containers, eskies and hard cooler bags, external food and drink, professional cameras with detachable or telephoto lenses, selfie sticks, tripods, strollers and prams, and banners or signs larger than A3. You may bring one sealed 600mL PET bottle of water each, except when a full decant policy is in place. Evolv walkthrough scanners are in place at all entrances, a manual screening option is available on request, and the arena asks you to allow plenty of time for arrival.
Lost property is held at reception and can be asked about on (08) 6365 0700 between 8:30am and 5:00pm Monday to Friday.
How do I plan the night?
- Check that your ticket carries the Transperth logo, and keep it with you to travel.
- Take a train into Perth Station or Perth Underground and walk to RAC Arena, arriving in time for the security scanners.
- Pack a bag no bigger than A4, and leave prams, large banners and external drinks at home.
- Look up your line in the table above and pick the last train you can make.
- If you live on the Airport Line, plan for Route 902 and check the app for its timetable on 18 November.
- If you drive, use the Market Street or Milligan Street entrance and pay by card.
