Boyz II Men play A Day On The Green at Bimbadgen in Pokolbin on Saturday 5 December 2026, with gates at 4:00pm and the concert finishing at 9:30pm. On-site parking is limited and needs a $20 pass bought in advance, so most people from Newcastle will be choosing between that and a Rover Coaches bus, which is $50 return from Newcastle City and $60 return from the Central Coast. The tour page lists the Bimbadgen show as sold out, so this guide is for ticket holders. Times are New South Wales local time, which is on daylight saving in December.

Everything below comes from the Boyz II Men tour page, the Bimbadgen venue page, the general FAQs and the Rover Coaches event page, all read on Thursday 29 October 2026.

What time does Boyz II Men go on?

Rover Coaches prints the show times, and notes that all running times are subject to change. A DJ is on stage from 4pm to 6pm.

What Time
Gates open 4:00pm
DJ on stage 4:00pm to 6:00pm
Bell Biv DeVoe 6:00pm
Salt-N-Pepa 7:00pm
Boyz II Men 8:15pm
Concert concludes 9:30pm

The tour page says Bell Biv DeVoe are playing in Australia for the first time. The Bimbadgen date is the second of the tour’s three day-on-the-green shows: Mount Duneed Estate, Geelong, is Saturday 28 November, and Sirromet, Mount Cotton, is Sunday 6 December, which is also listed as sold out. The group’s Sydney arena show is Friday 4 December at Afterpay Arena.

Are tickets still available?

On 29 October the tour page marked the Bimbadgen show as sold out. Tickets are sold through Ticketmaster, and the general FAQs say it is the authorised agency for all venues on this tour. The general FAQs send you to the tour page for age restrictions, and the tour page does not list any. A Day On The Green’s Conditions of Entry say its events are licensed all-ages events, and that anyone under 18 must be accompanied by a ticket-holding parent or legal guardian at all times. They also say bringing a baby is not recommended, and that babies are not permitted in front general admission areas.

Can I park at Bimbadgen?

Yes, but not without a pass. The venue page says limited parking is available on site, and a parking pass must be pre-purchased for $20 in advance if you want to secure a car park. Passes are allocated on a first-come, first-parked basis, and a parking pass does not include a concert ticket.

Question Answer from the organiser
Cost of a car pass $20 in advance
Is parking guaranteed? No, limited and first-come, first-parked
Parking on surrounding roads Not permitted
Minibus under 18 seats $30 standard parking pass in advance
Bus or coach of 18 seats or more Must register for a bus space
Leaving a car overnight Not advised; at your own risk, and the car park is not secured or patrolled

If there is significant wet weather, on-site parking may be affected. In that case the general FAQs say you will be told by email and SMS where possible, parking purchases will be fully refunded, and off-site parking with a ticketed shuttle will be provided. You would need to buy a bus shuttle ticket to travel from off-site parking to the venue, and details go to ticket purchasers if on-site parking becomes unavailable.

How do I get there by bus from Newcastle?

Rover Coaches is selling transport tickets only; it does not sell concert tickets. The A Day On The Green venue page says bus tickets went on sale from Friday 17 July. Each route below is a return fare, and the pick-up times are the outward departures listed on the Rover page.

Route Return fare First pick-up Last listed pick-up
Newcastle City $50 2:10pm, Rydges Newcastle, Wharf Road 2:30pm, Wests Mayfield
Newcastle Heights & West $50 1:50pm, Merewether, Beaches Hotel 2:30pm, Wallsend, outside Lemon Grove Hotel
Charlestown $50 2:15pm, Charlestown, Smart St bus zone 2:30pm, Cardiff railway station
The East Lakes $50 1:40pm, Swansea 2:35pm, Edgeworth
The West Lakes $50 ($40 from Brunkerville) 2:00pm, Bonnells Bay 2:50pm, Brunkerville
Tuggerah Lakes $60 1:15pm, Terrigal Hotel 2:10pm, Wyong Leagues Club, Lakehaven
The Central Coast $60 1:15pm, Woy Woy railway station 2:05pm, Wyong railway station

The West Lakes route lists Bonnells Bay at 2:00pm, Morisset railway station at 2:10pm, Toronto Workers Club at 2:50pm and the Brunkerville “Big Tree” near the Sandy Creek Road turn-off. The Rover page shows $40 in brackets for Brunkerville, so it is a different fare from the $50 route price.

Rover’s rules matter if your plans may change. Tickets and transport are non-refundable, and tickets are not secured until payment is received. Any change to a pick-up time or location after booking costs a $12 administration fee. The page tells you to check pick-up times and locations before you submit.

What about Maitland, Green Hills, Kurri Kurri and the Valley?

The same page lists buses from Maitland and the Hunter Valley. Several routes have an A and a B pick-up, with the B pick-ups two hours later (for example Maitland A at 2:30pm and Maitland B at 4:30pm).

Route Return fare First pick-up
Maitland A / Maitland B $40 2:30pm / 4:30pm, opposite The Quest Apartments
Green Hills $45 2:25pm, Beresfield railway station
Kurri Kurri A / Kurri Kurri B $40 2:40pm / 4:40pm, Station Hotel Motel
Largs, Bolwarra and Gillieston Heights $45 2:20pm, The Largs Hotel
Singleton A / Singleton B $40 2:30pm / 4:30pm, Blaxland Ave shops
Broke $45 2:35pm, Macadamia Farm, Milbrodale Road
Route 10A / 10B (Lovedale) $35 2:50pm / 4:50pm, Sovereign Hill, Talga Road
Route 1A / 1B (Pokolbin) $35 2:40pm / 4:40pm, Kelman Estate

Rover also lists routes 2 and 4 to 9, each with an A and a B departure, at $35 each, and the page has more than 40 return fares in all. If your stop is not in the tables, the Rover page says to contact them.

I’m staying in the Valley. What do the buses cost?

Most resort and hotel pick-ups run every half hour in the afternoon, and each return fare is $25 to $35.

Pick-up Return fare Departs
The Vintage Club House $25 Every half hour, 3:30pm to 6:30pm
Cypress Lakes Resort $30 Every half hour, 3:30pm to 6:30pm
Mercure Resort Hunter Valley Gardens $30 Every half hour, 3:25pm to 6:25pm
Rydges Resort Hunter Valley (Crowne Plaza) $30 Every half hour, 3:30pm to 6:30pm
Spicers Guesthouse (Ekerts Road) $30 Every half hour, 3:15pm to 6:15pm
Ingenia Holidays, BIG4 Hunter Valley $35 Every half hour, 3:30pm to 6:30pm
The Valley Brewhouse (Potters) $35 Every half hour, 3:30pm to 6:30pm
Wine Country Motor Inn $35 Every half hour, 3pm to 6:30pm

Rover lists more pick-ups than these, including Harrigans, Leisure Inn and Wine Country Villas at $30 each.

When do the buses go home?

Rover says all buses depart 30 minutes after the end of the concert, and adds “Don’t miss the bus!” On the published schedule the concert finishes at 9:30pm, so that is 10:00pm, though the running times can change. The general FAQs say you can also be dropped off and picked up at the venue’s dedicated zone, and that drop-off and pick-up on surrounding roads is not permitted.

The FAQs say there is a dedicated taxi rank at every event, but taxis can be in short supply at the end of the night, so they recommend making other arrangements for larger events. Uber drivers must also use the dedicated pick-up and drop-off area, and phone reception can be poor, which can make organising a pick-up from the site difficult.

What can I bring in, and what is banned?

The general FAQs give this list for A Day On The Green venues.

Allowed Not allowed
Standard camping chair, back no higher than 100cm (general admission) Umbrellas, even if it is raining
A supermarket-sized cooler bag that fits under the chair Hard coolers, eskis, and cooler bags larger than 26L
Sealed plastic bottled water up to 1.5L, still or sparkling All other drinks
Empty translucent plastic bottles for the free water stations Glass, including wine glasses, metal cutlery, stainless steel bottles or cups
Small cheese platters up to 40x20cm, in the general admission lawn or rear area only Tents, tables, sunshades and aerosols
Prams and strollers, in the general admission lawn only Pets other than assistance dogs, selfie and GoPro sticks, professional cameras

There is a security check at the gate, and prohibited items are confiscated. Bimbadgen is a winery with sloped and uneven areas, and the FAQs say there are no sheltered areas, so wear suitable footwear and bring a hat, sunscreen and a poncho or raincoat. There are no pass-outs except in adverse weather or an emergency, and camping in the car park is prohibited. Smoking is only allowed in signed designated areas.

What happens if it rains?

The show goes ahead unless conditions are dangerous. If it is cancelled for that reason, ticket holders receive a full refund from the point of purchase. The decision may not be made until the morning of the show, so the FAQs say to check the A Day On The Green site before you leave for messages on traffic, parking or wet-weather arrangements, and notifications go by email and SMS to the original ticket purchaser, so keep your Ticketmaster contact details up to date.
